Work out how much its going to cost to sort the prob and see if its worth the effort for how much money you will make.

Most people go for 195/50/15 purely for the fact that they are a lot cheaper.
I have Goodyear eagle F1s and they are a lot better than the Yoko A539s i used to run.

If your running without your spare just remove the cradle as well, needs to be jacked up at back, drop it down and slide it to the side, kinda hooks on.

Ways to tell are by looking at the starter motor to see if it is a small bodied one (2.0) or larger one (1.8), or try and look at the actual block, if it has extra strenghening webbing then its a 2.0

Not really down to the mileage but if something is going to give it will be under the heavy strain of 1/4 miling.
More down to how well it has been looked after, a certain red 16v ripped out its gearbox mount while dragging but lived to fight on.
