Fair enough.
Not as bad as I was expecting on price then.
Get 15's, tyres are cheap as chips.
In fact I'm back in Northampton this weekend putting my car back to standard. Fancy some Mint OZ F1's with nearly new tyres all round ;) ;)
Look forward to the pictures. Did you do all the work yourself ?
That's why I'd only buy a Clio with a cam belt done at a respected dealer knowing they would change the tensioners. A normal garage wouldn't bother usually, let alone time it up right.
Tyres Northampton is a really good place, I...
TBH, prep work is the bit that takes so bloody long, so you would save a fortune prepping and getting it masked up just so it can go straight in the booth sprayed and baked, and then you do the rest of un-masking it, flatting down and mopping/polishing.
Also excuse my ignorance but why is there...
Looks a sorry state, almost definitely a write off.
Make sure you put him at blame because 9 times out of ten the other party will be fine and dandy at the accident scene but when they are back home they will put the blame on you and it will end up 50/50 which isn't fair if it's 100% not your...
I like these, driven a couple and I'd certainly have one if I had the dollar. Seats are epic too, comfy and tartan ;)
Always look better in person than photos though.
Ok send me a time and date :)
Good for you, like people have said there are plenty of categorised cars on the road, and I would not like to own/drive one thanks. But of course I'm daft to have that view.
Re: T5MY G's saxo vtr - Recaro pole positions/b8's/carbon/saxsport/stripped!
Woah, you have been driving around with chopped springs. Jee'z.
Progress has come on very very well indeed.
Tip for the torsion bar, use some coke on it, cause it's bound to be seized ter'fcuk.
Talking about write offs, and the write offs we used to pick up were on the flat bet and they were horrendous. So no i'd not want to drive one, no matter how good of a repair it has had. Clearly talking about chassis/suspension damage write offs, rather than ever panel keyed write off.
Oh...
Hope the customer's know that ! I can't say i'd want to drive a bent car, IMO.
My old boss used to do this with every car he bought. Never bought a new car, always a write off.
I miss working in a bodyshop, tbh.
