With IronX, I noticed it was 'bleeding' out of a load of black spots, which are obviously very easy to spot (close up) on my white car.
But it didn't actually remove them.
So is it a case of apply more, or switch to claying? (Which ill do anyway)
My £100 order from CYC was delivered today. Shame I'm in Liverpool at the moment, so will only get a chance to try the stuff out on Sunday.
Looking forward to seeing what flaying will do to the Megane, and trying out Zaino Z2 and Gtechniq C5.
Yup and that's a mighty shame.
This was the sort of game I'd love as a frequent traveller. Get it out in the hotel and have a blast for an hour or so. But if the hotel hasn't got wifi, I can't play it!!
I'm really excited about this game, I can see myself really enjoying it for a bit, then...
I'm really not looking forward to waiting while my shitty Internet connection attempts to download the 12GB file!!
I might even wake up very early in the morning, start it off then go back to bed lol!
FFS doesn't sound good.
I can't stand EA, anything to do with them and its bound to be s**t. Just hope the game lives up to the hype.
I've read a lot of people complaining about the small size of the map, and that you can't have massive cities like you used to be able to do.
Signed up to a VPN service today, so should be able to download this tomorrow as its released in the US.
It'll come handy when I'm abroad too when wanting to watch iplayer etc
I guess I'm saying, I had Brembo HCs and PF97 pads in my 182 track car, and not once did I ever have an issue with braking. They could rip your face off, and cost a fraction of a set of 4 pots.
Personally I would spend the money on something that would make a bigger difference.
A smaller...
Well ok, you don't technically need coilovers or an ARB, but they'll make a massive difference compared to pointless 4 pot brakes. It's a Clio after all, not a range rover.
Don't bother with 4 pots. Not needed on a 172.
I would just make sure you have pads up to doing track days, then spend the rest on trackdays themselves.
If you have to spend something, you could make sure all the engine mounts, suspension parts are all in tip top shape.
I've never regretted moving to FX. As mentioned, don't get s**t glass for it though....
I'm not too familiar with the 70-300, but that's really not going to do the D600 justice at all.
Regarding faster glass.....Nikon 70-200 ;)
Looks good! Cant wait to do a proper decontamination on my Meg, you can so loads of tiny black spots all over it. I did a quick pass with IronX today which helped a bit, I think claying will be the main thing to get rid of all that.
Righto.
Last Q......any recommendations for some car wash? Is there really a difference among all of the different products available?
I've added Zaino Z-7 to my basket so far, but that was a pretty random choice tbh!
So you can use Z2 as a final sealant instead of a wax? If so that would be great as I assume its MUCH quicker and easier to apply than waxes.
So far I'm getting:
Clay bars
Iron-X (more of) Or should I try TRIX instead?
C5 wheel armour
Zaino Z2
Add I received some more G1 today, along with...
Oh yeh of course. And I really like the colour of the white, if that makes sense! It's a really bright white, not like some beige whites you see on some cars.
I might save the wax etc for another pay day. I have some R222 that I've had a while so Incan use that for now.
I'll just get some...
