What's the difference between this Zainos you mentioned?
Budget for wax could be up to £50 or so.
I'll probably give it a go over with my G220 at some point, but I'll wait until its a bit warmer as I can't be assed in this weather!
Generic question here, didn't want to start a new thread.
Can someone recommend a good wax? Want something for my new Megane (which is white if that makes a difference!)
Released a week today chaps (iirc).
Really looking forward to this, watched a load of videos from people playing the closed beta, looks epic!
I've even installed windows on my iMac as I don't want to wait for the OSX version which comes out much later.
I think they are. Same target audience, just ones a bit more expensive and bigger, and a bit nicer to live with everyday.
A golf gti is an old mans hot hatch really, not in the same league as renaultsports IMO (and I don't mean in performance terms by that)
Just bought a load of Gtechniq gear for the Megane.
I really liked detailing my VX220 and Exige, mainly as they're so small it doesn't take too long, and you don't need as much materials. The Megane is like a range rover in comparison!!
Looking forward to seeing what the trim restorer does...
I've just bought an R26, but I had a 182 a while ago.
Obviously the Megane is the much better all round car, and easier to live with everyday. Of course I havent had the R26 on track yet (but I will!), but the 182 is a hoot on track, but I'm sure the R26 is epic too, despite being bigger and...
I had 205 width 888s on my 182 with AST suspension.
I did have to grind down a bit of metal in the archway as it was running on hard cornering, but that was it.
Finding the RIGHT Clio Sport to buy..
Apart from my Lotus, I've only ever bought the first car I've seen. (And the lotus was only the second).
Of course I do a lot of research beforehand, and I buy cars off forums, so the people and cars are usually known.
It's never gone wrong for me yet...
Yeh he texted me saying am I definitely interested, as earliest I can come round is Sunday. Think others want to come earlier.
Tbh, unless there's something odd or I don't like, which seems very unlikely, I'll be driving it back Sunday :)
Minimises flare, supposedly.
And yes it will help a bit from rain if it's a large hood. I also find it's another thing to hold the lens by too, which makes things a bit more stable sometimes.
Ah cool. We'll have to catch up soon then. Would be good to see the old VX before she goes. Maybe we'll have to do an outing somewhere if you fancy it.
Even 888s are fine in the wet. It's just standing water they don't like, AD08s should be better in standing water obviously due to more tread. I personally wouldn't get R1Rs JUST because they might be a bit better in the wet.
