Yeah its not a million miles away Mark, just safety gear really and I could race it from there.
Indeed I think so Mike!
Lol, happy to help again next year Tony, will give you a call tomorrow for a little chat also.
Things can always change still with regards to the plans, so i'm not...
Cheers Chris!
Possibly, was planning on racing next year but for now just getting it ready and if funds allow get a race or two in. But its highly doubtful at the moment I think, the year after on the other hand is very likely.
Nick
Nothing that couldnt be rectified tbh. Remove rear lights/wheels/interior/induction kit/strut braces/tints and you have the start of a cool looking trackcar.
Oh and picked these up the other evening from Hal (HrRacing)...
Massively lighter than the standard parts, wont be fitted to the car just yet but when they do i'll be getting them wrapped in Mondial Blue or closish colour to that (hopefully).

So since the Cup I’ve had a few other RS Clios but none like the Cup. I purchased this with Ollie82. to go racing next year but plans changed unfortunately so now it’s solely in my hands and i’m going to use it as just a track car for the time being...
Anyway here’s a brief spec of the car when...
Not worth it, like chip said its not the most desirable Clio of the range so won't be appreciating like you think. Also has too many miles, I'd say one under 40k would have more of a chance.
Tonys right as well.
Perfect spec, exactly how i'd have an RS. Pretty much the exact spec car I test drove, could even be the same one given the Guildford reg plate (GX).
Nick
This.
I don't like the car, looks silly. Now got people saying I'm 'jealous'. I like Focus RS's, I nearly bought one. But I wouldn't ever own this one in its current state.
That's my opinion, don't like it? Cry to someone that cares tbh.
Lol. Clearly shows another example of how money can't buy you taste.
Oh, and I think Waitey has had more 'man' cars than you'll ever have in your lifetime.
R888's good point is wet to dry conditions (apart from standing water obv.), thats why I liked them, pretty versatile in comparison to other cut slicks. No doubt there are equally as capable cut slicks in the dry though for less price. Direzzas for example.
No that's cool Dan, mine faces forward also on the Clio. Just the pictures looked misleading! Should judge either given your more mechanically minded than I am! Ha
Looks like the droplinks should go on the outside of the arb, should be completely vertical rather than on the piss?
Cool car though, RS2 an lovely bit of kit having owned one myself!
