Drain some out as it can in rare cases blow oil seals on engines but not that this is going to happen ,but just for the sake of a 10 min job and peice of mind just drain a bit out .:spanner:

just take your oil filter off drain that then put it back on .

you will need the whole usable clip mate or it wont stay in place securely ,its most probably fallen down or to one side , the clip holds it in its notches

I would also say no as mine has a 98 ron map and idles just slight of the number 10 mark.also 182 and i had another that was standard and was the same as yours.

Yes see the black plug, get a thin screwdriver and close the the prongs tighter together then this should sort it out.

The plug that goes onto the bulb holder i closed the pins tighter and all is ok now .so if anyone has this problem it can be either a bad earth contact or the pins in connector not contacting tight enough.but im sure most will know this.

Its ok ive sorted it lol.bent the contacts a bit further on the plug on drivers side and is ok now.:spanner::up::smile:

Hi when i press my brake pedal or turn my indicator arm the rear orange fog light on the display flickers.Now ive read a good few posts about poor earth on the clusters etc and ive checked everything and cleaned everything but it is still doing it .the earth wire is making good contact with bolt...

I understand what your saying but just use a aftermarket kit much cheaper and it will do away with the ignitor as they come with it

I will never go back to vw thats for sure totally overated .tis a myth these german cars are more reliable i see lots on the hard shoulders of the uk and europe on my travels .at least if my 182 went bang tomorrow i have the option of a cheap engine or another 182 there cheap enough now

I have the ktec janspeed and its just right nice tone and solid .great on motorway also.

mines on an 04 mostly motorway miles full history and good oils and 98 ron remap from ktec racing.milage means nothing to me its how the car runs and drives and looks.

mines on 155400 and its like new.engines purrs gearbox and bodywork perfect.

could be an air lock ,if not sensor.

renparts are very good and genuine with clips and clip groove in right place.

deffo your injectors just change them all but make sure you buy decent ones.

injector change is easy can do all 4 in no time.buy the rentec ones off ebay £32.50 each these are the genuine ones others will give you poor starting issues.

just thought i would show mine.

just undo the clip and pull it out or if you have the hella ignitor turn it just dont touch the glass part of bulb its safe to change bulbs so dont panic.

I had flashing engine light changed injectors to the none genuine ones then i had problems in starting taking time to fire up but engine light stopped flashing.sent bogus ones back and got a refund then bought renpart ones that are the right ones with clips etc..Once fitted all was perfect that...
