Bit of an update:
Bought some new genuine cup shocks and fitted them, found out one was a genuine fitted and one different one which was longer. Had also bought an engine cover which tides the bay up a lot more.

Bought all my parts to make my own 'ktec induction kit' so had it fitted this weekend with a quick clean of the bay, the sound is unreal :) inlets need polishing up so that's a job going to get done soon.

Put it down as you haven't got alloys as a modification then see how much it drops by, then just take the alloys off until you can afford to insure them on it, and do what others said by putting named drivers on.
Theres two wires one that plugs in just under the base under the headlining, and one that goes down the c pillar on the right side of the boot just trace them back, ive just done mine on my cup last week!
I bet you still got a decent mpg out of it as well haha
You would of though so! More than £700 more to insure :( elephants the best deal with me though :) its shiny shiny now ha massive shame about the wheels though really let's it down at the moment!

I remember reading something like that my engine was standard apart from a panel filter ha!
Nice, I wanted a 182 but the difference in insurance prices was a stupid amount :( but I'm really happy with this!
yeah probably! Nice one what sort of power is it kicking out?
yeah it's getting there mate, wheels need refurbishing badly though! And yeah there good bulbs.
So Thursday, I got the cambelt kit fitted, bottom ball joint along with rear discs and pads, needed a new aerial base too because the nut had rounded off inside, Freed off the load sensing valve too.
Friday I fitted the wind deflectors from my old car as well as the foot rest, Renault sport...
Cheers :) yeah needs a bit of work but nothing I can't sort ha
Thanks mate!
Cheers Wayne, not insured till Friday so I haven't had a proper drive in it yet! Dad drove back from Sheffield because I couldn't get 24 hour insurance on it :(. 45mpg though ;)
Thanks, yeah got it for a good price...
Hello,
Now that insurance has dropped a considerable amount, I can now afford to insure a 172 cup :), so left a deposit last week and went 180 miles to Sheffield to pick it up! It's a 53 plate on only 65,000 miles.
It needs a few things doing to it:
Cambelt is due in 5000 miles
wheels are...
Yeah will be, Im gonna keep it a little bit longer the cup needs a cambelt and some other things so will keep it off the road till thats done!
And not sure might just sell as it is already had 3 offers on it and haven't even advertised it yet lol
thanks mate :)
Cheers, what's wrong with yours now? Ha
thanks Wayne, keep the 1.2s!
Thanks, the picture makes them look good lol they need refurbished, thinking of just having them as a winter set for when my 172 cup comes along!
Haven't posted my car in a while probably because I've just got round to cleaning it this weekend, now has rokkor coilovers wound right down on the back and quite far on the front and now got a personalised number plate
