I have a custom stainless Peco centre section, its a bit easier reving high up the range with it, and its a nice sound too. Me and Brun got em done for £65 each i think. For a possibly cheaper option im sure theres an Official Renault straight through centre section for pre-cat models.
keep your existing ECU, just need a Williams Hill power stage 1 chip, that will cover mods up to decat, induction kit and exhaust system and probably rasie the limiter a bit.
mine came with foil wrapping too, its whats left of the heatshield once the inside falls out. Get a new one to protect the brake lines and clutch cable. I think they are £25 +VAT
i was using an angle grinder, it was 5 hours in total, not just cutting it. All the bolts had rounded and rusted heads. It was mainly the size of the grinder and the lack of space that was the problem as it was the top nut by the lambda i had to cut. In the end i had to result to a hacksaw blade...
well ive never had mine fitted and its been on and off at least 4 times, the firast time took 5 hours cos i had to cut the bolts off. But i can do it in the rain, in the dark in around an hour and a half now. When you do it get 4 new nuts and bolts ready and copper grese them, does make things...

my car hasn.t got a vin plate, at all. But the etching, engine and chassis numbers all match up and its HPI clear. Plus i just couldnt pass up the chance to get a valver cheap.
well no, cos they wouldnt quote me either and mines got a few mods. It seems a little strange that some people get a good deal from the likes of Tesco and Lpool Victoria, and basically i didnt. So had little option but to stick with Flux.
well my stage 2 is with piper 270 cams i think, with a Hill Power stage 2 chip, its a lot more torquey, especially after 4.5k but even a bit lower down too. I think the vernier pulleys are for easy adjustment, i think you need to remove some pin or something (technical term) from the original...
