Just had the powerflex dogbone fitted to mine (this morning) and have slight vibration in the steering wheel now so does it just need time to settle down, maybe fitted wrong or just normal?
I was at one time looking to buy that clio, not the op one the turbo`d one. It was about £5990 at the time I think and on about 85,000 miles but decided against it . Also think the spoiler wasnt on it either but cant remember
You are thinking of a different clio I think that had been turbo'd. It was candy apple red and black

They should only work when your lights are on and if you dont have xenons then you should have had blanks instead.
I put the megane ones on my car as they are slightly smaller and still spray the head lights
Yeah the tape was already on there when I bought it. The weird thing is that the bit of black insulation tape looked like they had been chewed. Now starting to wonder if mice have attacked it as the number 4 HT lead also has been what looks like chewed at the spark plug end as there is tiny bit...
Was wondering if anyone would know why the insulation tape has been burnt off on my car?
I've added a picture of the group of wires in question and it appears to have only happened there. One of the wires has burnt through its coating a tiny amount and I'm guessing has then burnt the tape...
Yeah I know I should have but your group looked intimidating and I chickened out :rasp: joking a side I should have and if you’re up there again I will do. To be honest that was the first time in ages that I have been up the front, just doesn’t have the same appeal that it once did anymore
I had that when my front LS shock was buggered but now replaced it no longer does this. For me it was really bad if you went over cat's eyes while accelerating.
Might be another possible thing to have checked?
Might as well come along to this, would be a good way to meet local Clio owners. Get a feeling I might be disapointed with my read out though
1. DannyR - Ph1 Clio 172 - 250bhp
2. potter88 - Ph2 172 Cup - around 165-170bhp as Standard apart from ITG Panel Filter and Catback
3. Greeny. - Ph2 172...
If you want the induction noise just buy a £30 or less cone air filter. Just wait till you can afford a faster car to then tweak performance on. When its a 1.2 the important thing is to get it looking and sounding good. Just accept its never going to be lighting quick
So am I getting this right, he’s had the car a month going by the last ad post and this new seller ad date. I get that some people can change their minds about a car or realise they haven’t got the founds but just seems odd.
Got to say I would have been happier buying it based on the first ad...
Well think I could do with a new lambda sensor at some point myself, just havent got round to it yet. Well might not be till the weekend as it might take a little while but I finsih work at 5:30 and dont get home till about 6ish durning the week in case you wanted to get this done sooner?
Ive got an rstuner that can read codes, only engine related ones not ABS or Airbag as I havent bought the unlock code. I live in the Great Yarmouth area
If you bought your RSTuner from fastchip then you get the stage 1 map free. Just email Henk with a screenshot from the rstuner program main screen as that has the infomation on what version your ECU is etc and he will send you the correct files
Pretty sure Jamie16v they are the ones I have currently on my 182. Was a bit of a sod getting the old washers out though (well for me they were) but it was worth it
Ah ok, well hope you get it sorted soon, such a ball ache when anything like that happens and kills the joy of driving it (Well it does for me). Anyway will go back to lurking now
Cheers for the welcome Scutch.
Honestly if you end up being disappointed with it then I will be surprised as for what it is its great.
Must admit I spent ages on the purchase page hovering over the buy button and looking on this forum and others to see what they said about it. Im really bad at...
Been a lurker on here but had to make this my first post.
Got mine Friday and mapped it yesterday and can already tell its better (Clio 182). Like others have said its not so much about the increase in power/torque (although I have noticed it does seem to pull away much better) its about the...
