Meant to be £45 but they charged me £30 somehow, yea basically ill do a guide if you like, i don't have a crimper so i soldered them together and put some electrical tape around them to make sure they didnt come loose & to cover all the wire
They are worth it if you listen to a lot of music in the car cause it's an overall better sound quality and they can go a lot louder (if that's what you want) than the standard ones without distorting. It was a good investment for me as I love my music :)
Thanks :) i tried pick up spares for one but they didn't have one :/
I'll try ebay otherwise ask around here thanks :P
Yea they are great anything is better than the standard ones mine were some £45 ones from halfords but they only charged £30 for some reason, im not complaining though ;)...
This is my Clio..
This is the only photo I have of it standard (This was taken a couple of days before I bought it, about 5 months ago)
Side view
After getting it serviced I set about modding it, starting with a new radio (Sony xplod cdx)
I also sprayed the trim on the left matte...
My dash mileage/mpg screen is stuck on the mileage and when i push the plastic poker thing in (tried holding it in etc) it won't change to show me mpg.
Sorry for my rubbish explanation but does anybody know how to fix this?
Thinking of getting a longlife exhaust or something similar for my derv, out of curiosity will there be a noticable power gain?
And will it sound very tractor-ish?
Hey, I want to put some xenons in my car, I found these..
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/370709411735
But they say they aren't compatible with my 03 1.5dci clio yet they are the right size (H7, W5W, 55Watt).
Are they compatible?
Thanks
When i bought my 03 1.5 clio derv it had done a little over 150,000 miles!
Still runs lovely in the 5 months or so i've had it and hasn't given me any problems.
Just curious what everyone elses miles are and how their car runs :)
Thats pretty cool and also saves a lot of money! Want to fit some lowering springs soon, my insurance is so high at the moment though and wont let me have modifications till im 21 so if i do it i'll have to risk the insurance finding out..
