I'm open to offers, if you don't ask you don't get ;)
However I'm only selling because I fancy a change to a Z4 so I'm in no rush.
Cheers

Only got two axle stands so can either jack up the rear or one side. Halfords set tbh so nothing particularly great. I just don't trust garages with my cars anymore. Too many ripped under trays, wd40 sprays up the bonnet and greasy hand prints everywhere. I can only jack it up to get the axle...
More of a rant and a question at the same time. Got a second hand piper exhaust to go on, got a day off work so went to fit it.. Can I jack the car high enough to get to it comfortably? Can I f**k.. I'm reluctant to pay someone else to do it because, quite frankly, I don't trust them to do a...
Mmmm, loved these when they came out! Still quite like them too!
Some tuning company (can't remember who) did one with a big old single turbo that made something stupid like 400bhp and still could return 55mpg when driven properly! :o
Damn! Haha if you change your mind please let me know :D
PS my Clio is on 31mpg average over 2200 miles. The previous owner was getting 35.9 average over 6600 miles doing longer journies. Just bear that in mind ;) haha. The MR2 would be in good hands with me :D
Just out of interest, I do want my car to be semi track orientated (no I'm not a pussy so I don't mind noises and vibrations for the sake of a better drive) but if I were to fit the Evol hill climb/ track only dogbone mount currently on eBay at £35 + postage would that cause any actual issues...
Just so everyone knows (as a lot say only use OEM as other companies don't fit), this did fit, perfectly. Just got round to fitting it and its just what you'd expect.

Yeah I think so too tbh! As much as white wheels are a pain to keep clean they look ace on Arctic blue so that might be a route... Renault, sport and elf rear window sticker are now removed :)
BMX ones in the rear window are already gone anyway. Michelin ones on the splitter are staying, I'm 50/50 on the elf ones after I do the other bits. People seem to hate stickers on this place, a couples not gona hurt anyone ;)
Right then, thinking of what to do next. Can I have some second opinions on clearing it up completely, so debadging the back, colour coding the bullet and dropping the car?
Now
Photoshop of idea
Ultimately I know it's my choice but some secondary input would be appreciated.
Further plans...
Hi Guys,
Sorry if this is a daft question, I've used the search function but not found a definitive answer.
I've just ordered the following handbrake cable, from all the checks I did first on the length and fitment etc this is the correct one, however the very kind bloke at the shop rang me...
Thanks to Neil for the help but I've gone with Brentacre's.
£442 including interest.
Me and my fiancé.
10k miles
8years protected NCB
Can have any modification I like for no extra charge unless it's a BHP mod and that's on a like for like basis.
Great service and Dave was a lovely helpful...
I would suggest the cash in lou option and just see what they say. I can't say what the criteria are for it but I know I had the exact same situation and they offered me £1600 for my car that was worth around £3k. They wouldn't budge on the amount offered but they did agree instead to a cash in...
As a suggestion I've not seen mentioned, see if you can have a cash in lou payment without it being written off as a cat d and you fix it yourself. Not many people know about this but it might be an option. I know because I had the same in my mr2 and they only wanted to give me £1600 so I asked...
So simple yet so well phrased. Too many of these types of people trying to be the big man these days. Its the "lad" culture that's around at the moment. Deeply pisses me off, bunch of c***s.
Took the Carbon Lorraine RC5+ out for their first spin (no pun) at Curborough on Saturday. Oh my days. Unbelievable feel, bite, overall power and lack of fade (which you'd hope on a one lap sprint track, but my oe ones did). My personal set up is CL RC5+ on the front with Brembo HC discs and...
What's mad is I had been scrubbing them in loads, it took a lot more than I've had to before. But also it was a lot warmer this time compared to last time so I'm thinking it might be the combination of better pressures (28 all round), the warmer track temp and also the fact the new brakes were...
I'm literally fuming watching this. How anyone can find this funny or anything other than unbelievably f**king selfish, dangerous and arrogant then you're just as bad as him. Seen the comments from his mates of fb? Is this a joke? Probably will turn out to be fake and my annoyance will be...
Just as an update. I've had these tyres on for a bit longer now and I went round Curborough again Saturday. I take back a lot of what I said. They just took forever to scrub in I think! The car was mint and like it was on rails with some oversteer like before. Running 28psi all round they feel...
Took the car round Curborough and the brake pads are AMAZING, however, none of the copper tubes are still attached to the exhaust hangers... Haha need to invest in some strong cable ties ;)
