Was this yesterday by any chance and you were driving an iceberg 172?! If so, that was me in my 172 flamer and my mate in his titanium 182.
Around about 4 ish?
Ollie
Somebody actually went through the hassle of stealing badges? Wtf.
Reminds me of my mate who had the 'Msport' door Trims stolen off of his e36 328. Some sad people out there
Re: 'Cub's Trackday Flamer - Cage etc'
Wasn't there for long but was a good evening, sorry I sort of sneaked off everyone!
Thanks for having me Oli, il see you again soon for the tuner :)
Ollie
Mines sitting on cooksport lowering springs, so is slightly higher then that one. Is there a forum name to the bloke who owned it, and a project thread maybe? Just wanna see more pics if poss.
Cheers
I wouldn't say they look pikey, but it does give the car a whole new look. Only issue is... I like the way it currently looks so not sure if it's worth changing haha
Pic request please.
Does anybody have any pics of a flamer on the standard wheels sprayed gloss black? I've had a search and can only find 1 picture and would like to see a few more!
Cheers
Ollie
As title says, I've checked tyre pressures and just changed both rear shocks but yet it's still pulling me all over the road when I let go of the steering wheel. I've been told the steering rack bushes are fine by a specialist, what else could it be?
Thanks in advance
Ollie
Oli, yet again you've helped out massively :) thankyou very much mate, I really appreciate it! (Especially as money is tight ATM!)
Let me know a date that's good for you and il come round and pick them up :) maybe also tie that in with the 98ron possibly?
Thanks mate!
Super thanks for the info everyone! Nick, my drivers side shock has leaked out pretty much all of its oil so I'm changing both of the rears to fix that issue. Don't really want to do just the 1, rather keep it in pairs!
Am I right in saying 'Adam' on here is the best place to get them? ;)...
Hi all,
I have a clio 172 (non cup model) , and am in need of new rear shocks.
I'm currently running with cooksport lowering springs and am wondering if it would be beneficial to buy the cup shocks over standard 172 ones?
What's the difference, if any?
Also would it matter having cup rear...
I've actually just read it from start to finish lol, it's come a long way!
Thanks mate :) yeah I certainly do take pride in it, it's more like my hobby than my car :) spend waaaaay too much time messing about with it and cleaning it haha!
So hav'nt updated this in a while now...
Bought some new '9LED' sidelight bulbs which look amazing next to the xenons lately... They're pretty cool.
Main thing though is I've just had the Cambelt, dephaser, aux belt etc etc changed, aswell as PAS pump and fluid and a new engine mount fitted...
Cool thanks people. And I'm not scared of the phone... LOL. Didn't have their number. Il give him a bell later.
And no worries Cub! One evening weekend after next would be great :)
Cheers!
Hi all,
I am needing my Cambelt changed and was about to book up with S@MWM in Staines but it appears they've closed down?! :/
Who else local to Guildford (surrey) can do it for me? Want to take it to a specialist who's highly rated, not just any garage.
Thanks!
Ollie
Re: My Inferno Orange 182 Project Thread - Fast Road/Occasional track day car....
How did you get that rear bumper strip out? I've done every plastic on mine matte black now but can't get that rear strip out!!
Cheers
