I can't see things improving with a different lens, to be honest, especially this time of year when it's nice and light, if you're panning etc it won't get anywhere near f5.6 anyway, 90% of my shots are up around f16.
Best to check your settings, make sure it is in continuous autofocus mode and...
That actually looks quite authentic, wouldn't be surprised if it ended up looking roughly like that.
I imagine everyone wants to look like the new Fiesta, it's pretty much the only car selling on an 09 plate.
Andy, amazing.
As others have said, wall-worthy. As much as I'm against editing, I would probably try to lose the power lines/tower if it was going big on a wall.
You're not wrong, check out these samples from it...

1920mm on our cropped bodies, and it works with teleconverters, 3840mm f11 anyone, probably see the Lunar Buggy with that!
I never settle with equipment for long, even stuff I love such as the 50-150. Should get me well on the way to finally getting a decent car again though, once that's done I will consolidate with something like a Nikon 105mm 2.8 Micro, which will be a nice balance between losing the 50mm and 50-150.
Good work, always been tempted by these, recommended them to my parents, in-laws and a few friends, all took the plunge and are really really happy with them. My folks pics from Antigua with it were absolutely awesome, macro capabilities are excellent.
Just as a little update, put the Fisheye up for sale this evening at 8:30, sold by just gone 9pm to the first of 3 requests for it.
Depreciation? 0%. Sold for exactly what I paid for it and tbh could have probably profited considering how much interest their was.
Worth remembering if you...
On the dropdown list, stick to those in 'HO' (1:87) scale as that's the biggest range/most common size...

WARNING: You will spend hours looking at these, really is mind-boggling what they've come up with, almost everything you can think of is there...
Finally got some cracking weather today, so whilst waiting for the BBQ to get going I had a little blast with these little guys, had them for ages but not had a nice enough day to go out laying in the grass etc...
For most of these, an overall view with the 50mm 1.8, then a close up with the...
Not really sure where to put this, but if anyone fancies an excellent free day of race action tomorrow, Lotus on Track have 'bought the gate' at Silverstone tomorrow, meaning anyone can arrive, park up and walk in, no tickets required (you do not need to be a member of LoT or own a Lotus)...
I went a few weeks back, love the twin engined Cossie. The two cars on the carpet platform at the back of one of the rooms are worth an insane amount each. iirc the vast majority are in working condition, most get taken out on their circuit at least once per year to keep them ticking over...
It goes like this (roughly)...
Crop: D40 >> D5000 >> D90 >> D300 >> Full Frame: D700 >> D3 / D3X
D90 would be the next logical step, basically carries the same equipment as the D300 but lacks the metal weather-sealed body.
Never heard this before or seen it in the regs, several of the Saloon cars are road legal iirc and a number of them sport valid tax discs. I know the 106s were driven to the circuit last season and there have been visiting series where cars driven to and from the circuit score extra points...
GPS is a cool (if expensive) add-on. HD Video is a nice feature as well, the quality is stunning although I've not used it as much as I thought I would (best on a tripod, which I never use)
The D90 does retain the clever '?' feature on all the menu items to show you what everything does, and...
Road legal as well (and actually used on the road as well, might even drive to the track but not sure if that's still the case)
Here is the Saloon crash...

Yup, accidently left it on Vivid (and LO 1.0 ISO, but that doesn't seem to have had a negative effect thankfully), settings now corrected to normal defaults ready for whatever I photograph next ;)
I checked on the Just Married thing when I got back, that was in Austria apparently :)
It's almost unreal, just appears out of nowhere in this big valley. iirc it's the only one never to have been taken or damaged during the various wars and stuff, mainly because it's virtually impossible to find.
We went in but unfortunately no pics were allowed inside.
Once it's out I would expect the D5000 kit to be around £650 at retail, which considering what the camera is actually packing is pretty reasonable imo. Give or take a few things it's basically a D90 in a D60 body with the AF motor missing.
The swivel screen alone would make Live View/HD...
