Wouldn't be surprised if the threads are stripped and that's why the bolts been left out on the inlet. I had to helicoil 3 of them when I changed my spark plugs recently
Getting a very faint ticking noise on the front left side of the car, can hear it in neutral but is slightly more noticeable under load. I did think it might be the inner CV as it popped out while I was fitting new dampers, boot slipped a bit but I just shoved it back in and crossed my fingers...
Never done it myself but heard you can spray WD40 around the gasket and should notice a change in revs if it finds a leak. Seems a nice easy solution unless anyone disagrees
Alright, quick update to the thread, ordered some resistors and have soldered them in - I also got the airbag ecu fault cleared, but it looks like it might have returned.
Can someone confirm I've joined the correct cores? I definitely didn't mix up the purples, I cut off the plugs one at a time
Is there a specific control unit for the airbags or do you just mean to access the OBDII port?
Probably true, same could be said for changing your radio station though! I think I'd prefer to exhaust all other possibilities before going down the new seat route.

So a few months ago I was driving to work with my mate in the car, went to ping a fag out the window and cleverly managed to hit the grass kerb (was probably doing about 60 at the time). Left side airbag deployed and deafened my poor passenger for a couple minutes, car was fine...
@bozothenutter Still humming and hawing whether to get an easibleed or just rope in a pal, think I'll take your advice on the nipples though
@JB21 think i'll do that then, saves me worrying that I haven't got enough. Where do I get the discount code?
By change them as normal do you mean just let it pour out as im swapping and bleed after? Yep meant the tarox pads, their road variant (strada) - to be honest I will probably go for them over the OE pads just to try something a bit more exotic!
@bozothenutter Was planning to get some fluid at...
Not long had my wee 182 and feel the brakes are a bit lacklustre. Have pretty much made my mind up what I want to do - brembo HC discs and tarox for the front and braided lines all round. I've read on here though that you should never fully drain the brakes due to the ABS, how should I go about...
