Well after the P1 being on trickle charge for the few days I thought I`d show it some daylight
A little back and fourth down to the end of the cul-de-sac just to keep her jucie`s flowing
Took the oppotunity to take some photo`s of the P1 and the Clio
Some of my scoobie and EVO friends went to Cadwell on Sunday just gone(27th Oct)
I`v seen some of the pics from FlickR and there was a few Clio`s there...a nice looking track PH1 172 in sliver, a few PH 2s
Just wonder if anyone from here was there?
Dont mind the Apex springs as It handles really well and feels good at speed....abit hard on normal roads and at low speed, but primarly bought it for track use any way.
WOW...I can not belive a windscreen can cause such concern for you guys??
What is actually the problem with it?
Is it not the correct one??
Will it fall out when I`m driving round the track??
Perhaps the other questions I asked don`t matter as long as the windscreen is sorted first!!!!

Well its been 3 weeks now since I brought my Clio 172
And all I can say is I absolutly love it......It`s handling is amazing, and its so comfortable to drive. Its only sitting on Apexi springs which tbh when driving slow it does feel every bump in the road...but when you drive it at speed it...
At the end of the day everyones got their own opioins on things.....but please can I ask why knock sombody for it.....The guys come on here just to find out info about tyres and he gets slated for it.....as I have on certain issues.
We are not all full on mechanics or guru`s ...but just plain...
Clio would be best option...I`m sure your 205 would fetch more that 1k...it looks pretty well looked after and origanal sports cars do fetch good money...Its not far off a classic now.
TBH theres not many that have not had a engine rebuild.....mine went at 37,000 with the first owner, its now on 63,000 I`m the 3rd owner.
Prodrive exhaurst not that good either.....full S/S decat = more horses

I paid 1600 for my 2002 172.....with lowering springs already fitted, sports exharust, FULL Renault S/H 12 months MOT 6 Months Tax...
I would save around £500 of your money for some goodies....ARB, Polybushers, up rated brakes
Cheers guys.....Taking all your advice on board....and to be honest I`m a track novice, so I won`t be caning it round the track until I feel alot more confident....So I think the Toyo`s will be fine until then.

I`m only thinking of having Toyos as I have them on my P1, I have done a couple of track days and they seem pretty good.....and they seem to be very popular with the Jap scene.
