as per title, it just a case of removing the 2 bolts holding the cylinder to the servo or does the whole servo have to come out? if the servo has to come out any pointers on that would be appriciated cheers
blatantly 50/50 all the way. your mate says this, he says that. this is why for peanuts id always install a recording camera that would have caught the van driver moving into your lane without checking = case closed/win.
its £800 for a reason though. if you want a good one with history, belts done and shiney shiney paint etc you need to be looking at the £1600-2000 price bracket. offer £600 - its worth that all day in bits if you cant turn it around...

most insurance companies / reg checkers struggle to differentiate between a renault clio sport and a renault sport clio. ive spent valuable years wasting time on the phone while they try to figure out what car it is because it comes up as 1.2 not a 2.0 :-)
ive always driven the same cars - typically imprezas and beemers..... so when i have to explain to everyone that i now drive a clio 172 cup (because i work in car spares and always get asked) - everyone looks at me gone out and always ask - why?!? (with a smirk)
unless theyve driven an rs clio...
mondeos are great day to day cars but lets be honest, theyre about as much fun as finding out that your mates have cancelled the fortnight long plan of going out to the pub last minute, which leaves you to return home to the mrs who has planned a night of watching emmerdale omnibus in your...
yes it does dude. as gherkin says the lettering has to be the one and only available standard size as does the acrylic backing space around it. you can have a shorter plate if you have ie a 5 digit plate but the height is non negotiable. its bs i know, but its still illegal and not worth it...
wow dude you shouldve just started a new thread lol. i was still in my 20s when this thread was made, now midway to 40 :-(
cups are basic as bread. i like them though and ive got a 172 cup. defo sharper on the road than my regular 172. will be stepping upto a 197 next year i think
are you just repairing them because of dodgy plugs? i removed the plugs and resoldered the wires together, job done no need for resistors
seatbelt light is easy, undo the star screws on the belt clip and youll see a metal clip thats touching together. the idea is that when the belt clips in it...
i work in the auto trade and we supply number plates and are dvla registered. the size of both the acrylic and the lettering are illegal dude. a copper with a tape measure would have you.... ive had this scenario before! would take a total jobsworth of a copper though
from what ive experienced with selling clios the 'cambelt scenario' is a very touchy subject (and with good cause)
hes probably had a million calls all asking about the belt and just cant be ar5ed answering the same question over and over, however in that case they shouldve listed the belt info...
makes sense dude. 197 is a lot of car to have sitting around all week doing nothing. the 197 is the daily driver imo. got a mate looking for one atm. at some point ill switch from 172 to a 197. ill defo miss the rawness of the 172 though when i do but a bit of comfort for a slight lack in...
