dont bother with the TV outs on video cards.. the quality is terrible even on the best ones.
Make sure you buy a screen that has vga in (like a monitor) and check this site out for the best of the best.. plenty of ideas and solutions to problems.

the windscreen washer isnt auto, you have to pull the stick ;) the only washer that is kinda auto is the ones that clean your xenons when you have them switched on.
Stage 1 is like a very mild cutting compound.. only have to use this 1/2 times a year and sorts out any imperfections (bit like mascara)
Stage 2 is like a polish.
Stage 3 is the carnuba wax, this will seal in and protect the car from UV etc
1. get the strut top mount modification works on some cars.
2. Ye thats the famous (infamous) 4k rattle.
3. My 172 revs at 750rpm when warm so sounds a little slow. Get it checked out at Renault.
4. Check the filter anyway although a clogged filter is more likely to affect high rpms when...

I had toyo proxies on the front on my 172, in the dry they are a superb tyre. In the wet the are terrible.. funnily enough braking in the wet was still not really a problem, but cornering at speed was to put it mildly a "little adventure everytime" ;)
The contis are much better in the wet...
Porches ferraris etc all have much bigger wheels on the back than the front, even the mk2 V6 has bigger wheels on the back.
And Ben J is correct the 40 is the percentage of the width so would be higher.

When I was looking for a screen and deciding where it would go I figured two places..
1) the cup holders
2) take out the centre air vents and get a bodyshop place to fabricate a holder for it.
or secret option number 3 (the one I went for)
