Just remember to take a dump each morning.. lol
Diapac, Yep thanks for the info I think Eibach is as confused as everyone else now !! Will get the pics up after I fit them.
The Cup setup is only 10% stiffer than the mk2 172. (cant remember if its the springs or shocks)
Best be is a set of eibachs, a lot of people on here have got them and are very happy !.
Ye, as Tom said if you got a 172 keep it.. If I was buying a new car today and you asked me if I wanted the 172 or 182 I would ofcourse take the 182, it IS a better car as standard, but are essentially the same car even still.
A few tweaks to the 172 should see it on par or better than a...
Your probably right mike, according to k-tec though the 01s are for a 60KG lighter car. Which as most Cup owners know (and are happy to tell you) is a massive difference. ;)
Demon tweeks phoned, they can have them to me by tommorow !! whohoo.
Strangest thing though, I asked them what the model number is they would be sending and they insisted it was 01-22, the guy even phoned Eibach and they said it was 01-22.
I ordered 02-22 anyway as I trust k-tec, and the...

Thanks again mate, I will call them 9.00am sharp ! and I will also ask them to send the 02-22 !! ones, not the 01-22 ones !
As some of you may know I ordered some eibach springs from k-tec. They have just let me know that they may not get the springs for another 2 weeks and I really need to get them done for this w/end. They have offered Apex springs as an alternative, anybody fitted them and what are you views of...
No, same place.. make sure its filled up properly anyway just to eliminate that from the list of possible causes.
Check that nothing has become disconnected from the pump to the back of the car. IIRC the tube runs through the headlining so getting to that could be a problem. You may also have...
The solar charger really wont do anything to a car battery, it would take hours with those things just to charge an AAA battery.
If you still want to go ahead with it though, best way through the bulkhead is via the bonnet release cable grommet.
To a Cup probably easy yes.. to a 172 its a little tighter.
The xenons are a bit pricey.. but the light you get from them is 100x better than normal lights.. I wouldnt want to go back now !
Its all about weight transfer.. more weight over a wheel gives more grip, with you lift off the throttle the back weight on the back wheels gets lighter.
A video would have been great.. maybe I will do a video of how not to do it !! Phoned K-tec though and the springs arent even shipped yet.. they are still waiting on them to arrive :@
LOL @ side repeaters.. just blame it on the drink.. good idea !
Thx to who suggested the spark plug...
Same things happend with Cups, they wouldnt fit the splitter till it reached the dealer incase they got damanged/ripped off when transporting them.
The splitter as Tom said is about £140 and the mats are about £120, so make sure you dont let this go, either get the splitter + mats or get a...

Cat-back refers to everything from the Cat convertor to the tail pipes sticking out the back.
decat is generally nothing more than a straight through pipe where the cat...
