Hard to tell still from the pics but doesn't look promising. Had you asked them to wash it or was it complimentary? Either way I would take it back in there to show them the damage. Even if the wash was free you should not accept them damaging your paintwork.
I get scared if my car goes in to...
IS this Blue Peter all of a sudden?! A good shampoo combo I used this weekend was CG wash n wax with Saab wax shampoo, think it might be Sonax shampoo in a different bottle. Came up super sleek.
Think Rich has made one, oterwise I read a great one the other day which was really extensive and included a lot of details many people would neglect. Could have been on Polished Bliss, I'm at work at the moment so can't really check but I'm sure someone will confirm for you.
Yeh, sounds simple, but take your time. Biggest tip is avoid using too much product and getting it down seals where it is difficult to remove, otherwise your car will have loads of white all over it and won't look good at all!
I apply using a foam applicator and a good microfibre - you can get...
I charge £40 for a good shampoo, dry, arches, seals, windows, polish, arches, tyres and maybe the dash if if I am feeling generous.
If I am doing more to the paint then the skies the limit, depends how far the customer wants to go, many are happy with just a polish looks wise but normally...

£30 strikes me as being pretty cheap, presuming you had to drive to this guys house, pay for all the products and then the labour. If the guys got a CSL not like he can't afford it!
Did another coat of jeffs spray sealant and collinite 487s.... braved the cold and wind, both products seemed really hard to remove today (my arm's are killing!) and as I had the r adio on to listen to the footy, my battery was dead and no one who has any jump leads that I know are out!
Bloody...
Sweet, cheers mate much appreciated, just wasn't sure if you had to do anything different because of the immoboliser as my mates car died and had to be sorted at a dealers... can hopefully get on my way now!:D
Hi guys, I need some help urgently as meant to be driving back to Reading for work very soon. Basically, been cleaning my car with the radio on and lost track of time, and now the battery seems flat. The radio was still working before I turned it off so some life left, but when I used the...

The time to fork out for another complete set of tyres on my 172 is upon me again, not great so close before Christmas! I have heard the Goodyears are good, but currently on Conti Sports and have been perfectly happy with them, so just wondering if people thought the Goodyears provide superior...
Yeh... thinking will finally give in and get one in the new year. Will be appreciating saving time on the polishing more than anything! Cheers for the feedback Rich.
Do you guysonly use your PC to polish or apply sealants/ glazes too? I have never PC'd my car but was in great shape when I bought it and taken top care of it myself, I know it would improve the finish marginally PCing it, but do you think its worth the investment? I have been deliberating...
A signed tin of wax?! I could die a happy man if I won that!! :D
Unfortunately I don't think I can buy any more car care products for a while without my family thinking I am insane! To be honest I have started questioning myself!!
In that order mate.
Basically, you need at least a polish to clean the paint (I used the clay to thoroughly clean of all contaminants and strip back the wax). Having clean paint is the key to getting the sealant to bond to the surface - if this is not achieved the whole process is thoroughly...
I used:
Sonus clay
Chemical Guys extreme wash and wax
Autoglym super resin polish
Chemical Guys M sealant
Jeffs werkstatt acrylic jett trigger
Collinite 476S x 2
This should see me through winter/ nuclear holocaust
