Im confused at the REG, it was R80 NDE on the saxo, and on the 172 its R 80NDE. Which is it? Good progress though :)

I have this problem when going over bumps, or when changing directions quickly. Only started since fitting my new rear AST coilovers. Going to check the struts are tight, and check the boot lid aswell.

Yeh mate, the plug that you unclip is what you put the resistor into to complete the circuit. Pm replied to.
