i had mine done at renault recently but only because i had a relative so didnt pay labour and got it for 390 with original quote being around 650. they say about needing a speacial tool but anyone can get it.

yeh i had the exact same problem in an Rsi took out the sensor and gave it good clean and certainly noticed a difference.

idle sensor maybe?

I see a nice lady in probly 20s drivin a silver ph1 172 like yours everytime i go thru north station in the morning as i pull up she comes around the roundabout lol funny its like clock work.

Was passing through Hungerford today and saw a nice clean trophy. always nice to see :)

nice vid mate one of the main things i like about the ph1s is looking at the front of the car. its looks so much nicer and sportier than the ph2

does anyone own a white ph1 172? i never seen one, ive seen iceburg silver the most and then the odd green, oddesey blues, a few reds and yellows. but never seen a white.

i had my mot the day after i bought thatbad tesco petrol and failed on lambda emissions how unlucky am i :). but it sounds like it could jus be a dirty sensor.

yeah hes stripped his valver so pulls on me quite some but for some of them theres a car parked up so we had to dodge out the way lol

I Was told mine was lowered 25mm when i brought but im not so sure.

i have a 172 ph1 and just recently the airbag light and Service light both come on togther and sometimes stay on for 5 mins and then they will go off for ages then come back on. strange, also i have a rattle waiting to be sorted so i was guessing that was vibrating the dash and playing about...

I recently had a cambelt change and car has been fine but then suddenly as i was driving steadily to work last week i got a strange rattle which i could feel through the whole of the dash board as soon as i pull away and every gear. but wont make a noise at idle or rev in neutral. but i narrowed...

Right i just changed the coil pack on my 172 because i was suffering power loss when i put my foot down, when i slowly accellerate it will go but not very fast. does anyone think it could be a cracked spark plug? or hd lead? or if anyone else has any ideas. Also the car judders at idle

i payed 395 for cambelt change at 66k and thats was with friends and family at renault. was 680 without so i feel a little better lol so if u dont kno anyone at renault then its a no no lol

aghh didnt check that cheers fubar, and no i had it on older car and worked fine.

Jus fitted sub and amp into car but theres a problem, Power cable is fine, earth cable is on the back seat bolt thats in the boot. rc cable is fine. but when i turn the cd player on the light on the amp flashes on and off and stays off so power is getting there but not staying. checked both...

strange i took that route last night after cinema at freeport but was only going that way to get out onto a12 bk to colchester. but mines only 172 blue so wasnt me lol
