Can any of you clio geniuses please identify the noise my Phase 1 is making. ? It had an aux belt kit about a year ago and i have changed the aux belt again today. Car runs perfectly apart from this noise at parking speeds when the steering is loaded. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XiaBkSv-drM

Clio 172 Timing belt help please?

i do believe a cup is quite a bit less work due to the lack of aircon and auto tensioner arrangement. i have been quoted by a specialist £450 for my phase 1 which is aircon and requires the tensioner kit etc.

My Sunflower has 122K on it. I bought it at 85K (one owner, not abused ) and it still pulls the same now. As said before its the other bits. Even then worst i had was a clutch release bearing go at 110K. The clutch itself i changed but it still had plenty left on the old one.

    dephaser noise ?

Have a phase 1 172 on 120K. When using full lock there is an odd noise coming from the engine bay. I have had a closer look and at first thought it was the power steering pump. As the revs drop with the load on the pas pump it worsens. Sounds like it is coming from the top of the engine...
