i did 41 in a 30 and thats what i got, a few weeks later though i got a letter saying it was an unlawful prosecution so they gave me a refund and took the points off my licence :D

ring Renault customer service and ask them when the parts are likely to arrive, tell them your going on holiday or somethin in a few weeks and you want to make sure everything is totally sorted out by the time you get back
my parts arrived at the bodyshop the very next...
i also asked the claims dept about my engine conversion, and i was told that because its declared and ive got all the invoices for the work i should get most of it back if the worst happens !..........which is good
you WILL end up payin a lot id have thought, but you should be able to get it down from 2500
do you have a wife/partner you could add ?.......you cant use there no claims directly but having them on the policy sometimes helps

for hoses get SFS Performance Hoses, a lot of staff who work there are ex Samco and i have them on my car and they are very very good quality, and the colour goes all the way through unlike some Samco
as a lot have already said i can only imagine how you must feel, hope everythin gets sorted out quickly and without much stress/loss of licence/points etc

5W-40 is the grade to go for
you can get Carlube Triple R in this grade, Shell Helix Ultra, Halfords own brand, Silkolene Pro S, Total Quartz 9000 (ive got a 5L bottle of this for sale)
and probably a few others, including Elf but its usually hard to find

i use Silkolene Pro R 15W-50 in my GTT engine and i dont intend on using anything else
personally i wouldnt bother with Sony car audio, you can get better quality for the same money, latest stuff is all very cheap, open up one of there amps and you will see what i mean
