well if you aint gonna amp em how are you gonna supply sound signal to them ?
will you not run any other rear speakers other than 6x9s ?
cos if you connect em off the wires on some other speakers which are still running you will be showing the head unit 2ohm, somethin it wont be designed to...
you can get Autostyle mats for £44.99 from your local Motor World, you choose the binding colour and the main mat colour
made from very good quality deep pile carpet
some Elf petrol stations if you can find one, not many about though and not many of them actually sell it
i used to be able to get hold of cases of it but having trouble lately and i prefer Silkolene anywayz which i now use
well seeing as Castrol dont make an RS 5W-40 then its going to be quite hard to stick to that !
they only make the RS in 0W-40 and 10W-60 and the 10W-60 is very hard to get hold of
£130+£7 delivery = £137
your local Motor World will EASILY match that, and will probably do it for £130 therefore saving you postage and making it easier if you have any problems
he is right though, CAD do have good service
hes right
you wont be able to show your 4 channel amp a 2 ohm load
if your after a new amp for those subs mate, your local Motor World can get you a Magnat Xcite 801 for £149.99 which does 450W RMS at 2ohm, giving those 2 JBLs you have 225W RMS each
delivery from supplier on the Magnat...
hes already said his box has got a divider in it so messing with the phase shouldnt be an issue, jus wire em up to the amp + to + and - to - like you normally would
yes it would
bridge the channels to make it a 2 channel and see how that is, should be a lot better
it should be printed onto the side of the amp how to wire it to bridge it, but it usually goes
+ Bridged -
+ - + -
probably not enough power mate, 130W per channel, probably only about 60W RMS, if that, which isnt enough to power a sub really
can you bridge the amp ?
does it have a crossover/low pass filter on it ?........to run the subs you will need it otherwise it will sound rubbish
its funny you...
id suggest trying a different amp then mate
i work at Motor World and those JBLs are definitely not crap and with the right amp you can get a decent amount of bass from them, enough to vibrate shop windows a little
is there a level/gain/sensitivity control on your amp ?.........it might be...
yup
how do you mean they bounce ?
are they actually moving out of the box, or do you simply mean the cone is moving but your not getting much bass from em

ive spoken today to the technical dept for the importers of my amp and its getting RTB tomorrow for testing and repair
i could understand it being the earth (kind of) if it was a new earth, but its the same as i had before and i never had any problems with it at all
when you switch the amp...
ring Alpine technical and ask
if, as Michael says, its an M-Bus changer you might be in luck, but in general OE changers dont work with anything but the OE head unit
general rule with cd changers is that they have to be hooked up to the same make of HU and in some cases also use the same...
right, ive finally rigged my subs and amp up, and ive got a problem
gain on amp turned most of the way down, subsonic filter as low as it will go.....20Hz......no bass boost
now, when set to full pass my subs play the music like they kinda? should do (full range, everythin)
when i set the...
if you cant find em then maybe the only way is to run cable off the ISO block, but it is strange wires being on the block if you dont have the speakers ?
as above ^^
check the manufacturers website for recommended box size, its important you get it right and dont just bodge one together
make sure its well sealed aswell, i bought my boxes but ive gone over all the joints with P40 fibreglass filler to make certain its 100% air tight
its regarded as personalisation and as long as this is at least 10mm away from the digits it should be legal as far as i know
the company name, and post code, that supplied the plate, would still have to be on it somewhere, aswell as cliosport.net, it cant replace it, both would have to be there
