some manufacturers dont release the paint information for up to 5 years, most 3 years, so, it IS quite possible that Halfords cant make it, as they wont have the info on the recipe for the paint
i work for Motor World and i know for a lot of new cars we cant mix a lot of the new colours yet...
good choice on the oil, if its low at the moment then its fine to add a little of the Silkolene to get the level back up
jus do the change as soon as you can, but there is no adverse affects to adding a little bit of that oil to get the level up
it will always be better to give it a full oil...
depends on how much you want to spend, around the £50 mark for speakers id go for Pioneers, past that Phoenix Gold Octane R, and past that, well a good set of components, ive got Planet Audio in mine

you can get some subs in different ohms so that you can buy what best fits what your trying to achieve and what amp you have
if you connect 2, 4ohm, single voice coil subs, to an amp, the amp will see 2ohm, which is good for power in most cases
is the MRD-M300 not a monoblock ????
it is mate
that amp will be perfect for the subs, as they are single voice coil 4ohm, meanin that if you put 2 of em on the amp it will see a 2ohm load, i.e more power out of it, usually more than double as the alpine monoblocks are designed to be run at 2ohm
well i did mine and it took me about 7 hours !!!
it WILL take you a lot less time hehe
i wasnt certain if the signal on the wire going into the door speaker was full range, so to make sure i fed wire into the doors, which was by far the hardest part of the whole job
i mounted my tweeters...

if you get that though, make sure you get a dual voice coil sub as to get decent...
not for the spec that you want mate
that Sony is a very good spec for the money !
still, personally if you can afford £200 like you said, id spend it all, you mainly get what you pay for, and in general the japanese stuff aint as good as american stuff etc
what is it your havin trouble with mate ?
its a mono block amp so there aint much settin up to do really ??
what head unit do you have ?.........can you control the level on the sub pre out from the head unit ?.........thats if it has a sub pre out

dual 4ohm, so i can wire it to...
well the amp ive got at the moment is the Alpine MRP-M350
which is 350W x 1 @ 2ohm, 200W x 1 @ 4ohm
however, thats at 14.4v !!!.............so i reckon im probably seein about 150W RMS to my sub, which is a rare SVC Alpine Type R
ive been thinkin of gettin a DVC sub and a new amp, need ££...
ive got wiring diagrams for loads of diff combos, why didnt i just look at those, i dont know, lol !
it would show 2ohm to the amp, which means each one would get the same power, whatever the amp puts out at 4ohm each basically
previous question still stands though........2 cheaper SVC subs...
right, im after ideas here
disregarding the amp for the time being, what would people suggest doing, sub wise, with a max budget of £200
would it be best, to buy a £200 DVC sub and wire them to 2ohm ?
or, would it be better to buy 2 SVC 4ohm subs ?
also, can you run 2 subs off a mono...
