I hear many people say its a good car. But can you really get a better performance car for the pound than a 172?

would a 182 box fit the 172? i know the first few gears in the 172 box are shorter

I had the same model of clio for my first car, Jewish racing gold is a good colour :)

Got mine done at birchdown and the results are fantastic. Love starting the car to feel the engine coming to life. Also when you plant your right foot the energy isn't taken out by moving the engine it just goes into the drive train

Hiya! I had just got my car back from birchdown and had taken her for a outlap over rivington raceway ;) Will probs see you at the next NW meet :)

I've just had K-tec group n engine mounts fitted and both gearbox mounts fitted at the same time. The difference it has made is unreal. Go's into gear much easier and it feels faster when you press the loud pedal down as the tourqe is going into the driveshafts and not into moving the engine...

how many companies offer a supercharger kit for the clio 172 now?

yeah i took mine out to. I replaced them with aluminium ones.

Hmmm, guy called matt has a blue 172, and there is an inferno i have seen a few times.
