The thing is, its 172ps, so that 169 bhp iirc. Most standard engines done make this figure, mine made 158bhp standard, so its a tought starting point :) I just lost weight :)

Rear springs arent under any tension, so no reason for them.

You dont need spring clamps for rear springs. Just remove the lower bolt from the strut and ease the spring out.

Re: Spluttering like mofo AGAIN When mine sounded like this it was a dodgy injector. Birchdown unplugged each one and when we unplugged number 2 i think it was, the engine problem didnt change. Check plugs and leads aswell?
