true mate, there is NO point whatsoever upgrading the RT setup, to get better brakes buy the 16v caliper, discs, and pads
i had tarox 40 groove discs and even with those braking was still crap, its the caliper its jus p*ss poor
now ive got 16v setup its a lot better

i certainly wouldnt leave the battery where it is, far too close to the turbo IMO
certainly is, its the same with most insurance companies, they all have slightly different target markets id guess and you will get a price accordingly

the Ecotek valve will NOT work correctly on a 1.4 energy engine, simple as that
its because of the inlet manifold design and where the Ecotek plumbs in.....
it may cause 2 cylinders to over fuel, or 2 cylinders to run lean

they get better once there bedded in and its not that bad
ive got EBC Green Stuff on mine which dont seem to squeel at all and give off almost NO brake dust, and are one of the best pads ive used...
