I know what you mean, its easy to see how badly Turbocharged cars fuel goes, and to be perfectly honest im only 21 im quite happy with what i have, how fast is too fast? lol
12 points isnt enough to accomodate 300bhp lol
Well the thing about it is, when your buying a 300bhp+ car your not worrying about putting petrol in it regardless what the petrol prices are doing, He must have know being a mechanic of all people what the consumption would have been like.
If fuel consumption is a concern over owning a car...
Front wings and sideskirts aswell, the RS;s sit wider at the front that the 75bhp models do.
That and the fact they have big dirty brakedrums at the rear!
Hey guys so these 2 lights keep coming on, i have my suspicions that there coming on because the multi-changer is under the seat and might be obstructing the wires.
Im going to take it out and put it in the boot i think that should cure it, anyone clairfy?!?
Regards!
Mate buy the Type R! Or better, buy an EK 9!
I owned a saxo VTS before i got my ph1 172, and while i can say i love the Clio, build quality is just not up there with the likes of a Honda!
To be honest mate as long as Mitsi are still producing Evo's, megaines wont even come into the same sentance. For every 220-230-240bhp whatever megane they make, Mitsubishi will make somthing bigger, better ,stronger, faster!
Well as an all rounder id say the CTR is a better car, build quality for a start they dont rattle or squeak and will more than likley run off the clock and back again before itll break.
Performance is antother whilst the pre-facelift versions (before 2004) the CTR strikes 60 in 6.6 whilst...
Next year its a Honda Civic Type R EK 9, in champ white.
The Ph1 will only have 50k on her so she should sell pretty swiftly having being serviced 6 times already....
Hey guys, i have had a few niggly problems with the 172 since i bought it, i would probaly put it down to neglect from the previous owner.
Anyway so far things ive had to get fixed are>
1. Bearings in the Rear (not quite sure what ones)
2. Front nearside bearing
3. Electric Window...
I dont suppose anyone seen the car security measures they use in sao polue in South Brazil>?
If the attempting Crook tries the door handle, the handle clamps down on the robbing b******s hand, thus keeping him there until you and several mates then lay into him with sticks and other assorted...
well i left work yesterday put the window down as it was warm got home, went to put it back up and the b*****d never went back up did it!
So a wee phone to renault and its £167.07 for the whole part behind the door! So pissed off its unbelievable!!!!
Hey guys im in Glasgow and ive been looking to get my Ph1 172 alloys coated there looking a bit grubby after years of torment from a lady owner...
Ne way i have been quoted £200 to powdercoat the 4 in anthracite gray this was from Powder-Tec in Glasgow does anyone know of anywhere i can get...
Dogs drive clios? lol
Nah seriously though, whatever you go for id get a graphite finish itll go great against the silver of the car.
Are your callipers painted??
a dunno what he was trying but twice did he attempt to undertake me, such a poor display of driving ability, not only that but when i had my Clio 1.2 i dont honestly think i would have as been even stupid then to attempt what that wee mug was doing.
If the lights went red i was for getting...
Nah i cant see it mate, some of these cars have drilled, 380mm discs with 6 pot callipers!
It would stop you on a ten pence piece!
Speaking from experience i really have to admit my Saxo VTS's brakes were definatley not suited to the power out put of the car!
