get your car to your local Motor World, a battery test takes about 3 seconds and will show you the voltage and the amps the battery has
if you live in the North West come to the St Helens one and ill do it for you mate, oh an it is free
id recommend Silkolene Pro R 10W-50
you still get good cold performance and good high temp aswell
however ive found Elf Competition ST to still give excellent cold weather performance, something ive never experienced with a 15W-50 before, always found Mobil 1 Motorsport to take a while to...
nah MotorWorld dont sell it mate
if you can wait a few days i might be orderin a bulk lot of it soon...
pm me to remind me tho as i do tend to forget stuff
not sure on how much me car weighs mate, havent got a clue in all honesty
with regards to power, i should be on about 140 id have thought, maybe more if im very lucky, main power mods are modified head and 285 cam
once we turn the boost up in a few more weeks i might see 170 out of it...
well i took the Clio GTT back down to Andy today for a check up
changed the oil and im now allowed to use more revs
i know i went on and on about it before, but seriously once you start to use those revs thats when things really get sh1t ur pants time........
some Audi estate on the way...
i know thats why i posted what i did after i said it, all the manufacturers are involved in motorsport, its not really a valid argument...
and i said aftermarket filter, not your paper champion/Fram ones...
i use the EBC standard pads, the ones that K-Tec advertise as there own Kevlar pad
really cheap, a lot less dust than standard pads, and more bite, definitely worth the money
well its BMC who make the filters for the Ferrari and BMW Williams F1 cars, so theres a plus point for cotton gauze
really though all the major manufacturers of aftermarket filters will have some involvement in motorsport, i know K&N, ITG, Green, RamAir, BMC, Pipercross all do...
cotton does flow better however gets clogged easier than foam does
as long as you clean and re-oil the filter when it needs it id go for a cotton gauze
