unless you have a voltage dropper its never going to work...

every bit helps, it should be pretty obvious to anyone that if the intake temps are lower, then even tho the turbo warms it up and the intercooler cools it down, if its cooler at the beginning it will be cooler at the end, than if i had say an open filter

well as you well know mate the engine gets pretty hot, pretty quickly aswell with mine i know for a fact my intake temps are a lot lower than they would be with an open filter

your local Motor World can get you one mate, thats where i got mine i dont see how this Maxogen kit can be that much better than a BMC CDA, mine is the most free flowing filter ive ever seen, if you blow through one end, not that hard i might add, you can feel it all come out the other...

dont wanna get side tracked but Optimax isnt marketing hype, if you had read the issue of Evo with the tests you would have seen the pics of the engines before and after, it cleaned em up quite well

id ask for my money back, the filter will have dirty oil in it, partly why you change em in the first place, and if they havent changed it that will now have mixed with the oil they put in at the very least you want the cost of the oil back as you can claim its now contaminated with the old oil

well there is a 1.4 engine sat on the floor of GDI at the moment that needs a home mate, brand new clutch and fairly new starter motor on it.... not sure on the cost of the other stuff to be honest, be a few hundred id have thought

my mate has just got one on his Escort RST, and apparently u have to use thick cable on it, so dont use the thin stuff.........i think you need stuff like amp cable..
