you can get a cheap beesting aerial from your local Motor World mate, an Autoleads one, its only £3.29 and works as a proper aerial not jus for looks with no signal i think the part number is RMA884 but not certain if thats a diff thread, its the 6mm thread more than likely you would need...

do it with the engine COLD and dont use Castrol Magnatec as that seems to make it far worse, it did in mine and many other RTs

10W-40 is thinner than 15W-40 mate, only when cold though

id ring Comma mate and ask them what colour its supposed to be, oils can vary in colour by quite a lot, Silkolene Pro R for example is red !

well you were right, i earthed em at seperate points and i get interference bought an earthing point so ill have to rig that up so there both on the same point..... cheers

have you got 2 amps by any chance ?..........if so are they earthed at the same or different points

ive got 2 amps, one for my sub and one 4 channel for all the other speakers in my car..... does it matter if i earth them at seperate places ?

make sure you run the rca/speaker wires down one side and the power cable down the other side

most dealers use whatever they want.........My local seems to use Mobil Super S which is a semi-synth usually 10W-40

its a lot mate, i had one replaced on my RT when some learner hit me comin off a roundabout my total bill was over £1k but a lot of that was labour, think you are lookin around the £300 mark for the part ring Renault they will be able to tell you exactly..........jus ask for the parts dept.

yup tis true, headwork is around £300 just for the work on the head, not the actual removal and refitting...

you should be able to get an adapter made up somewhere, there was a thread on here a while back from someone who had one made up and could get more made the BMC is a good £70 cheaper than a Viper.........

oh and i should be gettin at least 1 alloy part when i get paid so ill take some more pics of it then.....

on a 16v then definitely the only way to do it is to have the air box or a carbon induction kit like the BMC...... on an RT, id keep the original airbox, i happen to have a spare if you wanna buy it off me for peanuts...... or if you want an induction kit get the Hill Power one, its by far...
