well if anyone lives in the north west and wants tyres for there car, come to me at work and ill try an do my best on prices
i work at Motor World in St Helens, WA9 1AF
obviously it depends on what you want done mate, ive ended up spendin more than i intended, but, look at it !!
i bought a donor R5 for £350 and sold it on Ebay for £200 stripped bare
give Andy a ring if your thinkin of gettin it done
07010 716440
hehe its not standard mate, full gasflowed and ported head and manifolds, and a piper 285 cam, lightened and balanced flywheel also
intercooler and turbo are next on my list
well Andy has had it fired up today, gettin it hot so he can re-torque the head
its currently a bit decked at the front on the coilovers
think he is doin the single wiper conversion tomorrow, and he should also have a brand new expansion tank aswell, as the current brown one spoils the bay...
Supersprint exhausts are very good quality, there all tested on a RR when they make em to ensure you get genuine gains, in the proper trade catalogue there is a RR graph of every exhaust they make
is this a powered sub ?
most of them are sh*te if it is, the only one ive heard thats any good is the JBL one that looks like a jet engine/gas heater...
you can buy something from Autoleads that will make the radio work fine, its £14.99, however the number it displays might not be the actual station its on..
think about it mate, once you turn the key any oil thats in the sump will be pumped around the engine......so even travelling to the garage you will have moved any oil that was drained down into the sump
definitely do it hot, the hotter the better
if the 172 offset is 37mm then the offset isnt wrong for the car, the wheels are fairly right
the noises your getting are more than likely simply because you have too many people in the car to get away with the wheels you have put on
i dont carry anybody but me and 1 passenger at all times...
id stick to a replacement element or get a good carbon airbox one like the BMC CDA..........its a lot cheaper than the Viper....reason being is that the engine bay on a 16v gets very very hot, so if you have an open filter your gonna be suckin in tons of hot air, meanin u will lose power...
standard pads produce loads of dust........
get some K-Tec Kevlar or EBC Green Stuff
ive currently got the K-Tec Kevlar on mine, same setup as you, RT with 16v setup, and they work straight from cold, a lot better than original pads, and half the brake dust or less, plus there bloody cheap...
