    The JDM Appreciation Thread...

Very weird sensation which may work on track but certainly doesn't on the A40... It switches positions depending on speed. I can't remember the three different speeds but say your driving at 68mph round a long left hander and creep to 69mph (or whatever speed it is) the rear wheels instantly...

Nice one Gaz, you'll love it. I drove a fair amount of FD's before deciding on the R32 and glad I went with that choice. Hicas delete, decat, done. Paid about 7500 back in 2006, wish I'd bunged it in storage rather than selling it

    At home in the Alps

I miss skiing too Sam, usually got every year but got married this year which set that plan back. Adrian, sure will be biking. Staying with 'downhill from here' where ever they have a chalet in Les Gets, never been biking in the alps before but cannot wait. August 3rd, you can be our personal...

    At home in the Alps

Jealous, much! I've recently said to the wife if I didn't need to work, I would be spending circa 1/2 the year in the alps! Will be in Morzine next August, technically LesGets but only over the hill ;) Those roads are epic, we did an alps road trip a couple of years ago and the mountain...

Re: My Phase 1 ITB Daily Runner No, I appreciate the gearbox, they're probably made of a similar smelling cheese to the Clio anyway. They're not amazing in the sense that they aren't coming out of a *insert motorsport brand* box and full bollock off race spec type forged mutha chucka piston...

Re: My Phase 1 ITB Daily Runner Having had sc and turbo'd F4R's, I say that turbo is my favorite if I did it again. And as Gray says, I'd follow that route of meggy stage1. However, I personally would also be tempted with a meg box too, but thats just my opinion and many disagree...

£4k on wedding catering, 90x BurgerKing whopper's would have been a safer bet! I mean, seriously, how hard is it to cook a new potato? Cost more than a race loom, probably equally as edible!! ;)

That's cus' I was beating you with a spatula ;) James, you're trying to kill yourself with the fuel, nutter. I ran a length of cable outside the car and plugged it to the battery externally. Am I right in saying the two slightly thicker cables were power, one of those being black and...

I'm 90% sure RS will change it as a matter of course after one snapped on their roller if my mind serves me correctly. Chip, would'nt I be correct in saying that even on a 330bhp SC install there is no more stress/force on the charger pulley than a 230bhp install as it's rpm regulated? Edit; of...

I don't think TDF can be blamed for that one at all, it's been known for some time that the pulley needs a megane/keyed version to prevent this happening, RS and Ktec have had them slip in past times Under no circumstances am I sticking up for TDF here and just throwing something into the...
