Okay, deposit finally paid in full, car is currently on the boat UK bound, with any luck, I'll have it before next week is out.
Very very true! Even more unbelievable when it's all for 13k ;)
Massive massive shame, the one thing I couldn't get ):
Cheers. I got it on ford options, so I can swap it out after 9-12 months for another model and use this as the deposit, perfect if my mileage drops soon.
Don't get hit by depreciation too badly either, got a very good discount so it's not so bad.
Ahaha I've never tried it before! I'm just too used to having my key in my hand and pressing it as I get in/out the car, its going to be a change of habit is all.
Off to pay up the deposit today and sign all the paper work :) Car was in Cologne when I called yesterday. With any luck it will be in the UK, prepped at dagenham, and out to the dealership before christmas shutdown (Which is next friday/sunday I believe). Would be nice to have it before...
Not sure which ones these come with as standard, 15" or 16", theres about 8 wheel choices on ford.co.uk.
I had a blast in the 1.0L petrol ecoboost, the gearbox was nice in that and was a lovely drive. I almost got the Stop/Start TDCi, but its another grand on top, just for low resistance...
Makes it stand out a little more than those ugly "star" type five spoke jobbies.
Hoping you'll be right on the nippy front! It's a second slower to 60 that my Clio, but hopefully it won't be too noticeable.
I read somewhere on Evo it was being heavily considered, it wouldn't surprise me if a twin turbo diesel was released at least for the focus, and ford announced at the mustang reveal they had news for the ST line to be announced next year. Would be nice!
It's about on par I think, should have...
Yeah I never stop hearing praise for the mk7 and facelifts. It's ny first car that's not a Clio, so I'm excited to see the difference in handling and ride. Went for super high spec since I could afford an ST, just couldn't justify running one on my mileage.
Another thread for a car that doesn't actually exist yet!
Put my order down at the end of october for a new Fiesta 1.6 TDCI Titanium X and will be taking delivery around Christmas.
Here's a few pictures of one identical:
Spec:
Heated Half leather "sport" style seats
Keyless entry...
Here's mine (HTC One X). My other screens are Blinkfeed (Left) and another home screen to the right with calendar widget, Car mode, and Shortcuts for navigation to home, work, and my missus' house.
Bit gutted about the lack or ring, I'm curious to know their thinking behind it.
Has anyone checked out the rewards based on your previous Forza games yet? I've only got tier 3, get some healthy credits to start me off though, as well as the fezzy and RS7...
Really looking forward to it! Its a bit of a weekend away for us too. Chapppers11 made a post about it not long ago, hence where I got the idea!
Heres the thread: http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?687743-My-first-experience-of-wrapping-Tuition-Day!&highlight=MDP
If anyone is...
Interested to keep an eye on this one! Work is paying for a few of us to do a wrapping course in the new year and I might wrap the new fezzy for a laugh!
Love matte grey cars, trying convince my mate to do it to his insignia vxr!
Has anyone got any recommendations for a decent leather protection? My new car has half leathers, and want to give them the best care I can really. I was thinking the Gtechnic stuff, L1 IIRC?
Fiesta 1.6 TDCI Titanium X in Panther Black with 17"s as an optional extra thrown in for nothing. Costing me the grand total of £13400 from £17660 :D
might post up a Full spec later on, but the jist of it is crusie control, half leather interior, heated seats, keyless entry, pushbutton start...
Fiesta ordered, got a rough date, so the Clio is indeed going :)
Will need to be going in the region of £2650 around the 16th - 21st of December. For sale thread will go up a little closer to the time, if there is any early interest to buy the car as it is, drop me a PM, else I'll be selling...
Theres a distinct chance I'll be selling on my sport interior from my Mk2 DCI but am in need of taking someone else's interior (and a little cash my way).
If youre interested drop me a PM.
PM'd you alex about the car :)
You two should open a Garage or something together, i've not met two more dci-knowledgeable humans on this planet than you two! Youve been an amazing help through the ownership of this car!
Will probably aim to sell some time in december, as i'll have to wait for...
So this project is slowly drawing to a close with a new car looming from Ford!
Managed to halt the leak by clearing out the tracks and giving the seal a bit of a push back in to place, so thats one thing solved.
Currently experiencing a boost leak, so I'm sourcing a new intercooler boost hose...
Niiiice, If i sold it I'd probably put it up in the region of £2600/2700 then.
In your opinion, do you think i'll be better off shifting things like the lights/headunit/ interior seperately? I got them all for a really really good price.
All reciepts + Itemised bill.
