Toying with the idea of moving on the DCI for something discounted from work.
53plate Clio DCI 100 dynamique. will be about 86,000 Miles soon
Pearl black, some small paint defects.
Electric sunroof, Climate control.
3 stamps in service book up to 64k, full head rebuild and belts done at 81k...
I spent just over 2k on mine in dynamique spec with 2 out of 3 optional extras (has climate control and electric sunroof. Doesn't have cruise control) but was a little rough around the edges.
either way, look at a dynamique spec for sure.
Cheers guys!
I think just swapping the units will go down a lot better. Sourced two (Thanks to tutuur!)
One above, and one from renparts.

Will probably go for the one tutuur posted, thats remanufactered...
Never waxed before so would love to be able to compare it to the likes of sealants like C2v3 and how it all holds up to motorway miles over the winter, count me in.
Evening all.
Turbo is on the way out on my DCi. Need to get it sorted before it does something silly and throws a fin haha.
I'm exploring a few options and wondered if anyone knew any decent/ fairly priced companies able to recondition my current one. (yes ill be off the road a little longer...
100 for out of box power, economy is slightly below that of the 80. Can remap an 80 to silly torque.
£30 road tax for all, except the 80 which is £20.
I had the same choice, opted for the 100. Martin sums up all the points pretty well.
Can anybody drop me a link to a decent solve?
Ahaha cheers Raz! Just the encouragement I needed.
OT, New standard airbox ordered, on the look out for cruise gear!
Re: STOLEN: CLIO 182 M555 JEH
Thats a f**king shame mate, i've never seen such a mint car.
I'm out and about in Bristol this evening, I'll take a diversion down the feeder on my rounds if you havent head down there already.
Just had the Fuel light come on in the DCI with 96 miles range left, computer saying 647 miles had been covered since I filled it the other week to the first click. Averaged 68odd MPG, was hovering around 75 in some places. :o Motorways, country lane blasts, fairly varied!
Was a bit better than...
Yeah the previous owner had them in, makes them tidy, will be doing the same to the rears soon enough :)
Just had the fuel light come on at 96 miles range, with 647 miles covered since filled to the first click. Unbelievable economy, will keep it until next year until I order an ST, the only...
Haha you've sparked madness among the dervs!
I am indeed, prototyping. I'm over at ceme for a year and a half (pic) which is a college type thing next to the engine plant in Dagenham, then I'll be at dunton after. Really? What do you do?
Get off my arse and paint the grill, pop that on...
I'm looking at getting one of these in the new year, But Its proving a right pain in the arse to decide how to go about it! At work I can openly swap the car every 9 months and keep paying, or just pay up and keep it! Most people just swap after 9 months or a year, to save having to service it...
New Brembo Discs are on!
Glad to not have any juddering now, just got to treat them carefully until theyre bed in.
Also run some of this through the tank:
MPG seems to have jumped up a little! injectors probably needed it after the rebuild, but the turbo seems to be making a little more...
Report back raz, I might jump on this boat!
Bloody ace work on the climate convert so far, bigger balls than I to do a job like that. I waited to buy one with it in already :)
I have to stop looking at this thread. Looked at the pictures againat work and ended up looking at prices for chopping DCI in for the ST.
Think I'm heading to a dealership tomorrow and I only have Gally to blame.
