wilwoods can be had from rallydesign, £89 per caliper i think of the top of my head, and they will fit 300mm discs. Then its just a case of taking the caliper and clio hub and i can get bracket made :)

Yep greg, good lad. All built from scratch, custom mounts and shafts. First 16vt conversion in the uk iirc. Companies do it now, i was quoted £5000 + engine cost!!

i paid £730 for a full 72k service including plugs and leads, and cambelt and aux belt change with bearings etc from birchdown

Not sure re bigger master cylinder, how big are the discs? Wheels are a small issue. Bracket is easy. Disc being 5 stud slight problem.

i have had brackets made for discs and calipers before so thats no an issue.

Will the brembos off the megane fit the 172? I believe its the R26? I dont mean straight fit, i can get brackets made. Just looking for a cheaper option rather than buying an "off the shelf" kit. thanks

those quote are on a price comparison website!! Crock of poo. Get calling direct, much more accurate. Guarantee youll get cheaper than those. As above, cant see how the 172 is only £200 more than a 1.2 when the 172 is group 16. Shows how inacurate they are!

You will find that someplaces are actually cheaper to insure FC. And its because of idiots like above, that only insure TPFT,just to be insured, so check with companies prices for both.
