Popped into parkgate rotherham today, an was greeted within minutes by 2 failures (blue 1*2 think 182's). First one with a steel cheese grater lower grill (an im sure more 'approate' mods if I looked) and the second with large 182 stickers on the sides, back bumber etc.
Shame both would...
I know what you mean, I drove all the way to doncaster in my 1.2, test drove my 172 (flame red btw :p ) loved it, got back in my 1.2 for the journey home and no lie as soon as I got in my 1.2 I thought I was in the wrong year, setting off in 1st seemed more like 2nd).
Hi,
My car about 2 weeks ago started to feel different to me, it seems im in too high a gear for the speed even though im not (having driven the car for 4 years I can tell, although a new driver may not even notice). An example being driving into my works car park, I normally do it in 3rd year...
I prefer the GT! The 200 just does not stand out, all the black (black bump strips, black bumper an thos exhausts at each side of the car nope me dont like).
unlucky, I seen that happen before even on small roads, chaps pulls close upto the left hand side of the road, slows down so he got more width in the road to shoot across the lanes onto his drive on the right hand side of the road.
Hey up fella, another sheffielder here, think we have a few meets coming up soon too (think boosh is gonna plan one too).
Welcome to the site, glad your enjoying the car thus far.
Thanks Matt, im goin keep my eyes peeled for the USB option, drop me a pm when you get them in, you could have a sale if I havnt got one before hand :)
Hi gents,
My paint has been peeling on my bumber (been quoted around 250/300) That much for a car bumber paint job is something I could really do without at this time. Do you guys think any of the Renault stickers (official, 3rd party stores like rentech yozza etc,) could be a good job of...
Thanks Matt, I do like the thought of the usb version, would you think ites wise to then unwire my cd changer and try an recover some of the £80 cost or just leave it in for resale value?
I dont see the point in writing CD's in audio format if I can play mp3's from my stick which is easy to do...
Hi,
2 questions please..
I have a 6 cd changer under the passenger seat, and I read the head unit cannot use both a cd changer and a ipod connector, so if I got the ipod thing, could I just pop the cable from the box under the passenger seat and plug it in that end? (I dont like the thought...
I seen a red v6 with a plate like that before (although i seem to remember both a red phase1 an phase2 v6 with private plate) I could be wrong but if so there is deffo a red v6 going around with an eye catching plate.
Hiya, a fair few of us from sheff, you should get a bargain in todays climate, if I were going for a 182, I would hold out for the very rare liquid yellows, they are really nice.
Stole this from another thread.
I got some new toyo's not too long ago (think proxies but not sure, about £65 a tyre) and they are really rather shite, steering feels really light alot like I dont have much friction with the road.
I got the network+ and server+, they are really rather simple (took them because they were prerequisites for other exams my employer needed). I passed network+ first try with just like 5 hours reading the material, I recon it will take a good while for me to digest all the ccna stuff (think I...
Hi Guys,
Got a strange one with my car, been trying a fair few things to fix it but so far no good.
It often fails to start, and when it does start it can sometimes been like its given up, and the revs are flat low down, i have to press the pedal to keep it from cutting out. I have noticed it...
I posted a soptted of you once agesss ago (when you had your silver ph1). I used to see you almost weekly on my commute from Shepcote lane and you were going to the gym lol but I started to finish work at a earlier time (around the time you switched to a 182).
Hi Boosh, keep me updated on this, the paint on my bumper is flaking a bit, once I get that resprayed an get the few dints out I may let you loose on my car ;)
Hi, on Penistone road? I saw a flame red (think you had a passenger too but not sure) going towards Morrisons and I was heading towards the Mecca bingo. Sorry I did glance but friday night after 5 days work i'm not the sharpest for responses lol.
How about an X38 mobo? Well under £150, my does not even have an onboard soundcard (It hs a soundcard, but its a PCI-express one, so you dont even have to plug it in if you have a better card).
Yea I think the thing with flame red, is also the sme with any red it really can look really different depending on the lighting, I am having my front bumper resprayed soon any will be really really surprised if it looks a good matched under all kinds of lighting as I hear is a really hard paint...
I love the flame red, althought I own one I take it for granted, whenever I see one on the road I think wow nicest colour, without doubt the best 172 colour (but then again on the 172 you dont have too many choices, I would be torn between sunflower yellow/petrol blue if they were on the 172 ph2).
I thought the fact that rolling roads used big fans was to simulate the air you would be facing driving fast? (ie if they suck and dont have any gain from a front facing CAF, wouldnt it just be the same as having no fan on the rolling road, and the engine would just suck in what it needed)?
