I'm running a gaz coilover rear at the moment so what would i gain from this? does someone make a coilover that you would need to do this for it to fit - sorry if im being a plank!
Will do buddy, thanks for your input
not sure which way to go now! :)
So annoyed you've said this! I've already thought about it!
Any ideas how much Golds go for?
I was thinking about bc fronts and keeping the gaz coilover rears - bc quoted £500 for the front corners
Thanks for you reply @ripp , I've been doing a lot of digging into my set up and talking to various people including nick @ puremotorsport and I seem to be really getting some big improvements from the car
I definitely need to go harder springs so I will be talking to gaz about that hopefully...
Hey Guys
So I've never been happy with the handling of my car, I haven't really paid a huge amount of attention to the set up as I've been looking to improve my own driving and tidy up the rest of the car!
I use my car on the road but also for hillclimbs/sprints
I've recently started looking...
As above really, this is the back of the dipped beam 'housing', I'm fitting new hids, found out the old ones fitted by the previous owner were held in by sellotape :|
Isn't it missing the lugs for the holder to turn into?
Cheers for the reply buddy
So parameter wise I'm looking at 10psi low and 80psi high(after you have taken into consideration the car would reach 130mph ish)?
Suppose it's hard to say as it depends on speed and temperature etc
Sorry to bring up an old thread,
I've just fitted one of these gauges
Could someone give me a rough Idea as to what pressures I should see at what rpm and what parameters would be best?
I had this exact issue the other day, I replaced the starter motor and it made no difference at all, so I'm next to certain it's not that - although point taken I will get a heatshield on it. Fitted by myself and a mate who's a mechanic
I'm going to check over the earth's and check the battery...
My money would be on angled buddy, I know that mine would be tight on the underside of the car rather than the heatshield (there's a cut out in the heatshield above the sensor)
Hmmm I was kind of worried that was the case, but Im still not convinced just because it's the same symptoms as before that weren't resolved with a new starter, I'll get a heatshield on it anyway
The make is the one that I can never remember! Red and black packaging with a red and black logo haha
Yeah it was a new one, no heatshield (on the to do list). But can rule the starter out as I had this same problem a couple of weeks ago, I replaced the starter but it made no difference at all, I cured it by replacing the starter and alternator power cable due to the blown fuse but I have cut...
it's definitely the throttle body making that noise, i wouldnt say its a beeping, but more of a buzz, i will have a look tomorrow and see if it starts when its not making that noise
i replaced the throttle body in may i think, as it threw up a ECU light on the dash and stuck the car in limp...
exactly my thoughts, when i started/tried starting it a while ago there was no hint of immobilizer (that beep/squeak is the throttle body) and there was no immobilizer light - i will try the battery in the key just for a piece of mind
i'm going to leave it and test the battery tomorrow, it...
no problem,
the starter is a week old so im hoping its not that, granted it could be the battery so i will test that again tomorrow
just tried starting the car roughly 10 times, the car fired up 3/10 and 7/10 done nothing so i am really baffled - such an tedious issue!
I dont know what peoples opinions are on the below diagram?
the car has been run like it for well over a year so i dont know why it would cause problems now but does anyone think it would create a problem?
cheers for the reply!
we did check everything once i replaced the power cable last week, alternator was making 14.7v (if i remember correctly) and that was true at the battery and every other place i checked
i agree with you it sounds like not enough power but if that was the case i dont...
i have got a management light, i had diagnostics on it and it said pre-cat sensor, i replaced that friday, it went out for a bit and is now on again, it came on whilst driving this morning
Afternoon!
I'm having starting issues again which i could really do with some help on
Had the same issue a week or 2 ago, to get the car home i bumped it and broke down on the way home with what i'm pretty sure was a flat battery due to the fuse on the starter motor/alternator cable at the...
cheers George
would you not say that chances are that's what pads are fitted in at the moment? - bit of pointless question, i know!
guessing you couldn't tell from a picture of the pads inside the caliper? :tongueout:
Hi guys
Might sound odd! But i am looking a brake setup that is really good from cold
The reason being is that i am building my car for hillclimbs and sprints and the set up i have at the moment takes a HUGE amount of time to get warm and useless untill they are! I'm not 100% on the set up i...
