    Tim's Forged LY R26

Fairly great effort along the way with this! Something much more satisfying about keeping a build for years than just buying another car. I appreciate it anyway even if your wallet doesn't :)

Help Please, ABS ring change guide??

Cheers @-Dan- for the help, I might have to leave it for now then as I don't want to leave the abs ring as is though the cost of the part and the torque wrench add up to the same as a garage doing it so tempted. Going to use one of these maybe...

Help Please, ABS ring change guide??

I have tried a fairly thorough search but couldn't find a guide on how to replace a front ABS ring. I know the part is cheap and cant really afford the labour for the change but the pedal feeling is not great. Do I need a torque wrench for this?? If so then the question is probably null as...

ECU help - burnt out component

Total bump but didn't get much advice first time around, any help much appreciated. Nothing electrical not working other than cigarette lighter lamp. I now know this is the UCH and read what that entails. Is there any circuit board diagram for it?????

Help troubleshooting, top brake light, boot light and cig lighter.

And further, the usb charger I have doesn't work from the lighter but it does get hot. Still no light on though??? Maybe just a lamp to check?

Help troubleshooting, top brake light, boot light and cig lighter.

Boot light seemed like a loose connection but the new led lamp had just come loose!!!! A tad shameful but so quick to fix. Any advice for how to check the cig lighter/ boot light in terms of settings on multi meter and what points to check. I have a lot of electrical experience but no idea...

Standard size is either 195 or 205 then 45/16. I run 205/45/16 ps3's and Alpin A4's and both have been great so far. Also, it's addictive trying to keep the bg clean because it is worth it for the one day/half day/5 minutes it's spotless.

    Front wiper rest position

Cheers, though I'll have to see if something in my tool kit is usable as I don't have a splitter. Anyone in Edinburgh have one that I can use?

    Front wiper rest position

My front windscreen wiper, passenger side has always sat slightly too low. It very nearly rests on the drivers side one but I'm sure the length of wipers is correct. Any ideas? Does it just need taken off and re-attached in the correct position? Cheers

Help troubleshooting, top brake light, boot light and cig lighter.

Finally bought a new multimeter after the last one died so going to try and check them all out. Audio is fine but the ring round the lighter doesn't light up. That would be great @Ads29 :)

Front end buzzing, possible wheel bearing.

Hmm, I'll jack the front up and check for any wobbles/roughness on any of the 4. Need to see how much replacements are too. Cheers

Help troubleshooting, top brake light, boot light and cig lighter.

Hi all, As per title I need a hand troubleshooting a few faults that have been bugging me for a while and now the top brake light too which I just found out about. The cigarette lighter has never worked and though I don't need it it would be nice to get it working, just check the relevant...

Front end buzzing, possible wheel bearing.

hi all, have a very definite buzz coming from the n/s front end when at any speed above 50. At around 70 it is fairly substantial. Is the best way to check if it's the bearing just to jack up and try and check for play in the wheel? Any help very appreciated.

    Timmy's Cup 182

Definitely check plugs for 1 and 2, helped mine a lot but they are always a bit sleepy on cold mornings as far as I know. And youve reminded me that I need a new multi meter to figure out why my cigarette lighter isn't working, Looks like a good example though

    Phase 1 Flamer Restoration Project

So much project and garage jealousy. I'd like nothing more than a garage to strip the clio down to shell and build back up again, almost OEM but better. That fuel log is maybe a bit toooo keen though.
