Cheers Martin.
I'd prefer my monies to go to a trader on here than some random company so that's cool.
Fred, can you hear me?! I'm sending you an email...
Had a look about but can't seem to find what I'm looking for.
Planning on doing my brakes this weekend and I want to get some Goodridge Lines for the Clio... Does anyone on here actually sell them for a decent price, or is Demon Tweeks the way to go? (If so is there a ClioSport member...
The hero Corsa story is possibly true...
My first (and previous car to the 182) was a 51 plate 1.2 sxi; had an indicated 112 on the way back from Thorpe Park about 6 months after i got it. Me, 4 passengers and bags in the boot, slightly downhill on the M20, so perhaps more momentum than...
Lanky, that Fezza pic is awesome! Linky?
Also the RX7 is one of my all time favourite cars, nice to see one tastefully modded, they are usually super-mega-ninja-RUINED.
The swoopy turd car in the last pic has a certain charm too...
Hi Guys,
Pretty much got my purchases for brakes sorted (massive thank you to George/G172, he is an absolute gent and gave me some great advice).
What i need is some experience from those with Goodridge braided hoses. All the discs and pads are coming off to get replaced and given a good...
We need a recruitment drive for sure. I've spotted 3 or 4 standard 182s, couple of BADLY modded 172s and 3 trophys... But no dice.
Also, i spelt separate wrong above; my bad.
Cheers guys. Hopefully it is the slider, wouldn't be too much drama! I'll report back when i've had it checked out.
Any other suggestions would be great still; massive thank you to all you guys so far.
Cheers guys, my list of checks is getting longer (and more expensive). Massively appreciate all the help.
Daver, What did you do to sort the slider? Was it a replacement job or a sh*t load of grease?
Cheers Ditz, I'll shake them like i'm having a seizure and see what happens. Also, saw your miles to a tank thread that got closed, I get a little over 200 with a mixture of town, back roads and motorway crusing (at about 80-90). Seems low compared to what other people report so i'm thinking...
Top man Ditz. I'll try and check that out.
As far as i can tell there's no other signs of their being any play in the wheel bearing, no grinding, wheel wobble or anything like that. Would there be anything else to look for? Aside from being able to shake the wheel all over the place when it's...
Hi Guys,
Bit of a weird one with the brakes on my 182, hoping someone can steer me right before i go chasing a problem in the wrong way.
So, brake pedal felt a bit spongey when i got it and, upon checking the service docs, no indicated brake fluid change. So got the fluid done about 3...
EX55 UKJ
Gave you a flash (of the lights), I think you were heading Burham way or something.
But you did seem totally oblivious to me/uncaring... I was driving like a bit of a ***** though.
Anyone on here? Always good to see a girl in a trophy!
Saw you going down Hythe Road and then turned right near the Esso Garage before Junction 10.
A scooter overtook you the wrong way round a traffic island and then almost rear ended a van, classy guy he was.
Be interested to know what exhaust you had (although I think you might need some new...
Hi Guys, cheers for the welcome! I'm Ashford in Kent, but i spend a lot of my time in Rochester and Ebbsfleet for work/romance haha
Guessing you're my rep Kieran?? :)
Hi Guys (and girls),
Been lurking for a couple of weeks since i bought the 182; looks like a great community on here! You best be prepared to give me some advice and tell me what to buy ;)
I'll get some pics up later but the details are:
04 Arctic Blue 182 with both cup packs, 36000 miles...
