Stevey pet I wasn't just saying it for a laugh ;) you know what needs to be done........ change it for miltek, scorpion, ktec, yozza ...... anything but standard. New mounts £8 each of ebay....... sorted ;).
Well I was driving back home from work and well I was approaching a roundabout, stopped giving way to traffic and just about to set off and the engine cut out, the STOP light and battery light came on, turned the ignition off and straight back on and no problems..... Then about 300 yards later...
I know this question has probably being asked before but don't really want to search through the forum. I know that a decat will throw up a light on my dash but is there anyway of preventing this ? (like a spacer or something)
Cheers
No worries. Yeah i heard that, i know a friend had them on his 182, It was stripped out and track ready but the adjustability of them made them fine for road use, he had them on a rock hard setting for ages but they were great once he made them softer, he had them on his for a good 7 months no...
I had AP coilovers on my Fiesta ST, I know its not the same car but they were pretty good for cheap, they gave decent ride quality and lows and sharpened up the handling a little bit. But maybe worth getting some second hand ones from a better brand. Message someone called chi on here was...
Well the car has starting droning at motorway speed but now its doing it at lowish speeds as well. Reading up it could be wheel bearing but I actually can't pinpoint where the noise is coming from as sometimes it sounds like it at the front and and the rear. Any help ?
Cheers
Only done it a few times when the car has already been waxed previously thought it might help. Usually use a glaze before wax anyway but hey haha. Im rusty, yesterday was the first time I have attempted a proper clean in a year....... forgot how annoying it was..... washing, claying, polishing...
You could always use a glaze or sealant of some form after washing it when it has been waxed. Im not really into my detailing but thats what I do when I want to preserve it. I also sometimes once washed, go over it with a quick detailer and micro fibre cloth seems to do the trick but as said I'm...
Aye its alright needs a paint correction tbh but its 9 years old so not bad considering
Yeah I know its not a million miles away so its not annoying me that much yet. Going to get a new one at some point so just going to leave it until then.
Decided to give the 182 a wash ....... didn't quite intend the 4 hours odd hours of washing, claying, polishing and waxing.......
Also got to put a new tailgate badge :)
First off was a good claying and got a good amount of grime of it !
Before badge
After:
Looks much better IMO...
Hi all been a member of the forum for past couple of months but finally got hold of a BG 182 with both cup packs
Looking to get back into the car scene again after being nearly a year without a car.
Used to own a 2.0 Fiesta ST and put alot of time, money and effort into it so no doubt will...
Alright cool i caught it as well tonight and the slight rasp turned into a loud sound but only need to make it last a couple of weeks until i get a new one cheers bud
Just bought myself a 182, knew it was blowing a bit but always had the intention of replacing the exhaust. It seems to be blowing directly below my seating position any ideas what bit ill need to replace when doing this is a case of full system with decat/cat/sports cat?
Thanks
