Took the gearbox off the engine and stripped the clutch last night. Doesn't look too bad, but I wondered if anyone knew the specified thickness of a new centre plate, and the minimal thickness on a worn one? As I have nothing to compare against and no dimensions in the Haynes manual I'm unsure...

Went up to Crewe this morning to pick up some panels for my car. Got a valver bonnet, front buper with fogs, driverside wing, f16 engine cover and inlet manifold cover all in good nick for £90. Very happy. Now my project can move forwards :). Just need a good subframe... anyone?

I hit one a few weeks back. Tried to dodge it but front and rear wheeled it on the left hand side LOL! Poor hedgehog.... no damage to the car though.
