I always tell them not to wash it when it's been into Renault.
Hope they sort it for you, don't give up if they say no. When I had a problem with Renault when they refused to fix something under warranty I just asked for a complaint form from the manager and they took me aside to find out...
I've not had any problems with mine, and I've never heard of any problems from anyone else who have them either, and there seems to be alot of people who have them.
Both are lovely cars, best to drive them both and see which you prefer. I guess if you can afford either then the R26 would be the best option as it's more of a step up from the 182, but it's all down to personal opinion.
