Thought I'd try this as have run out of AG shampoo! Very impressed, foams up well and car took less time to dry as well!
Patrick at Demon Tweeks reckoned Megs is a step up from AG (lasting longer) with Zymol even better again! Seems to be the case, so far so good
Danny...just say you bought a cheapie and it was really good! Then refer everyone to Rich for a paint restoration booking! Take 10% commision for yourself.....Lol
...goes good! Well infact...stops well!! Very impressed, 400 miles on the road before Brands trackday. Didn't fade at all and plenty of feel/bite I thought.
^^me too...got them for £35 from Demon Tweeks! Apparently Mintex are really promoting hard, hence the price at the moment! I gather they are comparable with EBC greens or Ferodo DS2000's so shall fit them tomorrow and see how it goes...
I think the police would measure the tread depth rather than relying on the wear indicators! I assume they are at 1.6mm but wouldn't rely on it myself.
Karen...did Oulton park ok on front tyres that were fairly new...about 1000 miles! As said, if it's wet it could get interesting!! Depends...
Both grips on mine (14K/15 months old) started to peel away during the heat! (bottom outside edges) Have glued them back down with epoxy resin tonight so shall see how it goes. Sometimes it seems easier to fix problems myself than keep going back to the dealer!!
Shouldn't be having these poor...
Maz...be interested to hear how you get on with DS2500's if you go for them. My standard pads did fade a bit on track and I've been considering these pads! :)
^^used a brush to agitate/apply the AG interior shampoo. On top of washing with washing up liquid/hot water yesterday am pleased with results....good luck!
any ideas on the best method...realized the other day how grubby the silver seatbelts have got!
Tried scrubbing with hot water and washing up liquid with limited success...
Cheers
Sounds like the road surface to me, especially if it's a one off. Worth checking nothings loose though for peace of mind...wheel balancing is another possibility!
Just paid £155 for a new wheel for mine from Renault...already had a tyre! Didn't think it was too bad a price and reassuring to know it will fit fine and avoids the risks of buying a second hand wheel!
