Cannot put the original cat back on with the 70mm system. With the 63mm system you can because the flange is in the right place.
Sorry, thought id reply dont think Big Dave would be able to answer a complex question like that ;)
Errrm I sometimes use a Pipercross IK but i dont really feal a gain becasue i havent got enough shielding from the engine, so i think it gets too much hot air.
As for the noise, I seem to remember Dogmaul saying that the zorst is too loud to pass the 98db test and that he had 2 wedge some wire...
Yes. Lots. All the time. loud.
Think Rally Car and thats exactly the right sound. Even when you try and drive slowly and quitely. People stop and stare. (oh and cover their ears with thier hands)
The Supersprint has a 70mm tail pipe, then the rest of the pipework is 63mm inner diameter. (dogmauls is 70mm inner)
The main difference between the zorst designs is that i have a flange, so i can fit the original CAT back if needed. The 70mm doesnt have this.
I can only assume (havent had...
Right well mine is the 63mm Supersprint race system.
You cannot get the 70mm (dogmauls) systems as it was a limited run and there are no back boxs left at all (europe) However as far as i can tell the 63mm is better because you can alway bung the cat back in come MOT time.
I would imagine...
WHAT ARE YOU ON ABOUT?!?!?!?!?!???
Of course not. Fit it, then drive straight home and hit the rev limited up your road to let ALL the neihbours realise that they are going 2 be woken up every morning from now on.
The go for a long drive with the windows down! (oh and make sure you go into...
Well thing is i dont want there to be a gap between the bumper and zorst because the bumper is low enough anyway it would look stupid. I recon give it a few more days and it wont rattle against the bumper because it will have all melted!!
Oh well lets hope i dont have to take the zorst off to...
Should I let my exhaust melt up into my bumper or should i change the mount to make it lower??
Already started to melt to im tempted to just let it do its thing.
looks good though a single 70mm tailpipe
£450 with membership discount.
I had one fitted yesturday. Fantastic fit and build. Let me be the first to warn you though they are VERY loud. (ie if you do lots of M/way driving then NONO)
Doh why do i do 50 M/way miles a day
Well im getting the suspension noise (Even though the dealer told me theyd fixed it)
And i think the vibrating noise might be gearbox/clutch releated
Problems is you can hear ANYTHING now ive got my zorst fitted ( apart from the loudest droning noise in the world)
No if it makes a difference in the wet then thats not whats being taked about here.
The noise mine makes is like there a huge amount of slack somewhere, so you boot it in first (dry) with full traction (mine makes a strange virbration at this point as well) then when you change gear its like...
Jesus that looks REALLY bad.
Looks like a pikey NOVA wilth a Big Bore 4 slung underneath with some bungy cord!!!
Had mine fitted today bang upagainst the bumper and it looks mint. (only problem is it has started to ment and nice grove into the bumper, but at least i wont need to cut it now...
Lots.
You can get a Supersprint which are roughly the same (single 70mm exit).
Although as its a race system I wouldnt swear by its leagality (and it gives you a head ache everytime you start it)
