It doesnt need to be fitted by reno, to use the OE keyfob. Any half decent fitter will be able to get the cobra alarm work with the OE keyfob.

So as a rule what do the different exhausts sound like? I used to have a Remuson my golf and that sounded really deep and powerful, which exhaust sounds the nicest on the 172??

Im installing my Sub and Amp at the mo, donw all the wires etc, but.. Will the back of the rear seats support an amp? (4channel ) they seem a little, well foamy. I dont wanna mess them up trying (03 172) and i dont want someone 2 sit on the back seat and end up with 4 screws in their back...

THE ROAD ANGEL WILL NOT WORK WITH A 172 WINDSCREEN I would imagine that no GPS receiver would be able 2 see through the screen coz it is RF relective or something (think and purple!!!!) U need a re-radiating antenna ( £60 )

there really good some bloke called ralph fitted mine and had a phat CTR!! When i get home ill post the number for you. Ask for him as he used 2 have a 172 and knows exactly where everything is and how best to do it.

yes i got the option of either a cobra keyfob or it working of the reno key I chose the reno key to maintain originality, but with an added suprise!! it works just like normal central locking, but sets the alarm as well, im happy with it!!
