Anyone every tried one of these?? I downloaded the software to have a look at it. It is True "laptop" power. Plug in and it will display all engine stats. tweak em and hit a button. Bobs your Uncle.
I guess, unless you press the wrong button and you engine goes bang.
I would go with unpluging it.
Ive had mine plugged in and unplugged and me car seems to be running better with it unplugged.
Its probably a mental thing though......
Although I would get your car Rolling Roaded afterwards to make sure everything is fine.
I was told mine was running very lean. But i want a second opinon before I get a chip.
The other sensor goes in your garage.
Know one has come up with a definate answer as to what the second sensor actually does. I would like 2 know.
What signal does it send to the ECU if unpluged (left open circuit)?
Yeah i cant believe the difference between mine and Dogmauls.
Thinks its because i was a fool and left the second sensor pluged in which must have been give the ECU dodgy readings. I#ll have 2 get it on the rollers again soon.
Yeah :-(
Mine made bugger all. (ie I lost about 10BHP) Got a full SuperSprint system with De-Cat was running much too lean under full throttle/load.
After I get it chipped (if i keep the bloody thing for that long) I should be running very decent power.
Although I think It might have been...

Right have rung Renault UK. They have said that a car WILL be proved until the part arrives a the dealer. However once the part arrives at the dealer then it is down to that dealer to supply me with Loan/Hire of a car. They do not seem exactly willing to do this.
Is this a case that i can A...
But do they is that thier policy? Or do they have a clause which say that they dont "have" to supply me with a SAFE and ROADWORTHY vehicle even if mine were to break??
