I got my 172 from a car supermarket because i was quoted 4 months delivery by Renault. Rang Autolink, and a car appeared on my drive 2days later. Easy.

I agree that Magnex are nice. But can you deal with their tail pipes??? They are far too large for a clio. Plus your not going to see any real power gains from them. After saying that I have not idea what to suggest. K-tec with the smallest tailpipe they do.

Get em 2 check the engine mount under the battery. Paid £210 for mine. Daylight robbery.

There are two star drive screw. One at the front and then one at the back. Remove the elbow first as this makes it easier to get it out.

Well, the bloke who looked at it said that probably more than just that mount would need replacing. They are going 2 take the engine out to check for other damage before they order the parts. All this on a 7 month old car that mainly does motorway driving. Pah.

I think you should get the new ones. The standard 172 breaks are shocking. I have a 1.0 Yaris that has more stopping power than my 172. (ok granted im going at half the speed)

And before anybody starts, we are not talking about the suspension mount thing. This is hardcore, nasty, breaking/grinding/vibrating/clanking coming from the engine bay on acceleration. (mine only used to do it on full throttle but now does it all the time)

Well mines been doing it for 6months now and it gets louder every week. :cry: Its really not a very nice noise at all.
