    Yeah you could be lucky and get away with it, but its not worth the risk imo as they have been known to snap!

    Just back from there. Showed them the VOSA newspetter thingy from the link, and they still wouldnt pass it as the guy wasnt happy with that little rear bias, plus think he had made his mind up. So i asked them to ring VOSA and sort it out. 30 minute phone call (for him while i read EVO mag.)...

    Mine had the same problem, turned out to be a sticking pad in the capiler slider?? basically brake ended up binding when hot and caused excess brake wear on the inside pad.

    fitting a cup splitter to 182

    I just drilled the hole in the splitter and then held the splitter upto bumper, marked up for holes in bumper, then drilled, screwed on. Maybe I was an idiot and / or lucky?

    I would probably ask somewhere to plug it, as I had one in a similar place and they were fine about it. But if you are worried then get a new tyre.
